Id be surprised, its not really Blackpool but they will lump us in with Lancashire/Blackburn etc..
Bugger. Oh well. More time to sort for the next game - Fleetwood?Pompey is scheduled for the 1st December, lockdown doesn’t end until the 2nd.
We will miss out by 28hrs. As you say bugger, the code would be better anyway. Would be like the homecoming in miniature.Bugger. Oh well. More time to sort for the next game - Fleetwood?
Damn predictive I meant the cods.We will miss out by 28hrs. As you say bugger, the code would be better anyway. Would be like the homecoming in miniature.

Yeah, was thinking they could put the game back a day but there again why would Pompey agree to giving us an advantage by having fans thereBugger. Oh well. More time to sort for the next game - Fleetwood?
Gutted! Still, will make it sweeter if/when we can go back.Yeah, was thinking they could put the game back a day but there again why would Pompey agree to giving us an advantage by having fans there
It is. But fans will be allowed to be there. At least from the Cods anyway. I might try and sneak a ticket!Isn’t the Cods away ?
There are reports that EFL are trying to make provision for clubs to reschedule to Wednesday 3rd December if they are able to allow some spectators in. There will of course need to be local safety officers to assess whether Covid precautions will be in place, so bit of a rush really.Pompey is scheduled for the 1st December, lockdown doesn’t end until the 2nd.
Sorry foiled again, the 3rd of December is a Thursday. There are reports that EFL are trying to make provision for clubs to reschedule to Wednesday 3rd December if they are able to allow some spectators in. Ahhhh!Sorry foiled again, the 3rd of December is a Thursday.
I’m going to set up a new company. “Wet blankets r us”Ahhhh!
It was Tranmere at home.Last game before lockdown in March was cods away so who knows .
Well I still think we will be if we are in with East Lancs. It will depend if the Gov accept LCCs proposal. If not, we are tier 3.Glad you have changed your mind Gareth.
You were convincing us all that we would be in tier 3 a couple days ago.
Our ground already has Covid precautions in place from the Swindon game but will probably need reassessing for the increase to 2k.There are reports that EFL are trying to make provision for clubs to reschedule to Wednesday 3rd December if they are able to allow some spectators in. I hope so pal.Interesting comments here. Says only 3 clubs can have fans immediately. Are we one of them? https://www.afcwimbledon.co.uk/news/2020/november/joes-update-following-government-announcement/
Then we we all be arguing who out the 2000 gets to go hopefully non of the 1000 who got the golden ticket with having 4k ST holders.I understand it's still the intention to move games if clubs are in tier 2 or 1. If we're in 2 then I think 2k will be there next week.
There's only 3k to consider, and then with it being a night game some won't be able to make it. If it is possible we could have a process of those 3k emailing / contacting the club if you want to be considered. If demand exceeds 3k then draw out of hat. Then we we all be arguing who out the 2000 gets to go hopefully non of the 1000 who got the golden ticket with having 4k ST holders.
The only fair way for me is to ....Then we we all be arguing who out the 2000 gets to go hopefully non of the 1000 who got the golden ticket with having 4k ST holders.
That is a massive amount of work as you could be dealing with 3000 messages. There's only 3k to consider, and then with it being a night game some won't be able to make it. Not that time consuming - couple of hrs work.
Just heard that but didn’t get why? If that’s the case we will be flooded again from the East Lancs area! The Illuminations are coming back on does this mean we are Tier 2 ????
If they are allowed 2,000 fans in - then there should be at least 1,500 spare for the mighty after they have given 350 away and the 150 die hards have bought theirs. It is. But fans will be allowed to be there. At least from the Cods anyway. I might try and sneak a ticket!
Think you're over estimating - either way it's not difficult. That is a massive amount of work as you could be dealing with 3000 messages.
Much better to email out "you are "successful" and then wait for a couple of hundred returns and reallocate if needed.
I learnt early on you should always try and solve a problem with as least work as possible.Think you're over estimating - either way it's not difficult.
It would cost the club to do that- extra stewards, maybe police too.Yeah, was thinking they could put the game back a day but there again why would Pompey agree to giving us an advantage by having fans there
It was the EFL that suggested this last week so Pompey may not have a choice. Bottom line is the fans are the customers and for once it's good that the EFL recognise that fact.It would cost the club to do that- extra stewards, maybe police too.
