I've heard it still haunts him, he sees him when he closes his eyes, did well to play today with that on his shoulders....

and the commentary was in sync with the video. And commentator was far easier on the ear than Chissy. At least he seemed to be watching the same game as the rest of us
 
Great result. Done just enough, and no more.
Not an easy game to watch, but some great defensive performances. The two CB’s and CM’s in particular.
 
I was impressed by Dougall today. Just the way he could put a foot in in tight situations to stop the Cods' advance.
Other situations I was less impressed with. Turton had occasion, more than once to clear down the line but there was never anyone there to pick it up. If that is a regular feature we need to make sure there is someone there to at least challenge for the ball.
 
I think Simon Saddler deserves some serious recognition for the work he has put in. When the defence was looking weak, invests in some excellent defenders, midfield looked a bit flat, Dougall comes in, Critchley looking like he was struggling, Calderwood appointed.

Whilst of course this is all the doing of the management and players, Simon has been incredible in his role and all of this current success has trickled down from his hard work.
 
Good to win ugly occasionally. Defence beginning to look very solid.

Anybody got a link to a Fleetwood messageboard ? Be interesting to see what the Fleetwood fan thinks.
