6-0 tonight, won 1-5 at Barnsley last Saturday. Their goal difference is now 2 better than us. They are really going for it.Lincoln have won 7 and drawn 3 of their last 10 games!!
Not sure which is more impressive - 17 goals scored or only 1 conceded!!Lincoln are chasing play offs just like us. 6-0 tonight and 5-1 away at Barnsley, don’t write them off either
Unfortunately an inability to create chances seems to be the hallmark of a Critchley team ( bar the occasional Portsmouth away game ).Just need to focus on ourselves, 6 wins from 8 should do it. It's unlikely, but doable with the fixtures - no room for much , if anything, less than that.
Last night did worry me as although it was an ugly win we created very little - and that was against a poor team who looked like they had both eyes on the summer break.
Tend to agree, however a good run and a bit more of a feel good at the end of the season will hold us in good stead.Personally....still think we've left it too late and will just miss out. I'm a half-glass empty sort though!
Yep I'd agree with that about Lincoln- Since their new manager came in in November, along with Moylan and a few other decent signings, they've looked impressive. Remind me a bit of us when we went up to the Championship the first time around with the run they're putting together...Just to put this in some context, if the form of each team was replicated over the next 6 games
Lincoln would be 6th on 74points +34gd
Blackpool 7th 73points +22gd
Stevenage 8th 69points +14gd
Oxford would be on 65points with only +2gd
Stevenage would have 2 games in hand over everyone, from this form it looks like Lincoln are the genuine threat for 6th! Oxford as I predicted have shot their bolt!
Sign of a good team not playing well and winning lolJust need to focus on ourselves, 6 wins from 8 should do it. It's unlikely, but doable with the fixtures - no room for much , if anything, less than that.

Manning fucked them big time. They were well on course for automatic before he left.Oxford in 20th are the surprise to me. We’ve gained 8 points on them over that period. Did anyone really see that coming?
Yep totally. Had to look who their manager is, Des Buckingham, thought who is that??Manning fucked them big time. They were well on course for automatic before he left.
They followed it up with a poor managerial appointment and are paying the price.
