According to Betting Odds 4/5 .... so someone has lumped on a fiver having read other threads probably
It'd be interesting to see how it affected the odds.Someone put a tenner on Alan Curbishley for a laugh....
Hopefully you mean 23/24Right now I’d be happy with anyone as long as we’re guaranteed championship football in 2024-25
And don't forget we had an insight into Richie Wellens in the Class of 92 series who also didn't appear particularly charismatic.Did no one watch the Salford documentary? He couldn’t even get them in the play offs with the biggest budget by a distance. Nice guy but zero charisma his team talks were like being slapped around the face by a wet fish. He was also the guy who never played Gnanduillet unless forced to. Also left us in the lurch a couple of weeks before the season, that’s ok for him but not Appleton. Could someone tell me the rules please?
id rather have McPhillips and I’m not joking
My reasons for DobbieSeems that most of the habitual moaners want Dobbie.
Does that mean there will be less griping if he gets the job? I'm all for it if so.
Or will everything be blamed on the lack of an open chequebook, the grass, the pieman, selling too many tickets to away fans?
I’m not sure you learn very much about someone from a documentary, particularly a football manager. Would any of us be our normal selves with a camera recording your every word. Unless fans went to games during that period, GB and his style will be new to everyone.Did no one watch the Salford documentary? As said on a other thread, every time he's been back he's had abuse shouted at him. Why he'd be rushing back from being a hero where is is IDK, ok I do, money and a bigger club.Agreed he wasn’t much better. He’s got a bit more about him though Wellens and I would at least be optimistic if he got the job.
Bowyer started the season he left as boss. We drew the opening lg match then he departed a few days later.Rumours The Stains quibbled over paying a bill for pitches hired for training elsewhere because Squires Gate was in a poor condition. If rumours true then I don't blame him for resigning to get away from the tight gits.Did no one watch the Salford documentary? He actually left two weeks after the start of the season, not two weeks before. Having said that, I wouldn’t want him back either.Did no one watch the Salford documentary? That’s not going to happen is it? For season 23/24 we’re in League 1.Hopefully you mean 23/24
I'm pretty sure I read that he's got a masters degree in football leadership or something like that.Bowyer has a solid record with a couple promotions, has experience of running youth academies and developing young players, according to LinkedIn lives in Warrington, and has said he wants to move ‘upstairs’ eventually. Bring him in with Dobbie as no.2, and have a succession plan in place for a couple of years’ time.
You’re right my mistake too early in the morning (that’s my excuse anyway!).That’s not going to happen is it? For season 23/24 we’re in League 1.
Has he??Wild’s already spoke to the club.can’t see it being Critch or Wellens.either way I expect the new manager in by next week.
23/24 we’re in league one lolHopefully you mean 23/24
That’s even worse then isn’t it!!He actually left two weeks after the start of the season, not two weeks before. Having said that, I wouldn’t want him back either.
Give over. Join the real world. He’s been sacked about 10 times over the years absolutely dreadful record. Give it Critchley and make Dobbie assistantWhilst technically he was Critchleys assistant I think Colin Calderwood would be a good shout as he knows the club and the division.
He had probably just had enough of the stains. It’s like hitting yourself on the head with a hammer, eventually you decide you can’t stand the pain any longer. That’s even worse then isn’t it!!
I believe soHas he??
very weird behaviourApparently Gary Barlow is now the favourite so is he the man to relight our fire, I pray he is but never forget that we need to have patience when everything changes Barlow is quoted as saying it's his greatest day and he wants to shine as the Tangerine's manager and he's sure that we can rule the world
It's a new day and he will be working Sunday to Saturday so get ready for it, could it be magic? And does it mean the good times are back for good!
agreed, bit boredvery weird behaviour
