Get your tips out for the lads

if i was looking for win only, i'd be on the emmett mullins one too for obvious reasons. however, and i don't want to speak for hazi, but his tips are always pretty much ew plays with a keen eye on double-figure prices and, as ever, value. perfect fodder for a small stakes accumulator/canadian etc..

we can't all be big stakes, high rolling, glory hunting short-priced favourite backers can we? mind you, as long as they win...😁

I know the score mate. I used to bet like that for entertainment but now do it more as an extra income. Since having a more detailed proffesional way of betting. Keeping ledgers of bets etc and getting bits of info off the contacts I have built up I have actually made a profit the last 3 years. If a horse is 2/5 and I make it a 1/5 shot I will back according to in my mind the horses chance of winning. I was a chaser made and done my bollox on more times than I can remember. Walking home from the now closed belle vue was a regular. So I had to look for other avenues. It's ok having lucky 15s and all them bets but the bookmakers love them. They hate the punter who has one lumpy bet with a good strike rate. Problem I have is getting closed down. Corals hills bet365 betfred the lot have either closed me or restricted myself to a maximum £5 bet. Hence why I only use betfair now. But then still I need to pay 8% commission. I can goto the track and get on but who has time to goto the track 3/4 times a week. There's nothing wrong with having 20p Canadian etc. Aslong as you enjoy it. I love the game and if I ever get anything worth backing I will pass it on.

Keep them coming MP

I look forward to the bookies closing me down as that means I’ve won 😁

You can change your settings to pay 2% on Betfair and should do so if you are a winning player

I cannot do that I made a profit the last 2 years. They did initially have me on 30% premium charge as my wagering last year was 1.2 million with a 44k profit. When you break it down like that it's a lot of outlay for a relatively low percentage return. That's not 1.2 million of my own cash. That's recyclable money. I don't have 1.2 million lol.. But we crack onwards and upwards.

I understand that completely...think you put up some pretty good advice yesterday and make very good sense...I dont post what I get on here as it puts you on a hiding to nothing but Chunky and Hazi are a decent read and you certainly wont come to any harm following their advice.

yep, can only echo that ttp. mpool, it was v interesting reading your rationale yesterday - speaking personally, it makes the flat so much easier for me to understand because i'm a jumps man and rarely bet or attend on the flat.

and talking of the jumps, i'd be very interested to hear any snippets from the moore yard - gary certainly knows how to get one ready for those valuable handicaps, particularly in the south, and he's a trainer i have a lot of time for.

The biggest problem with the Gary Moore stuff is that many of the commercial tipsters put his horses up and the price quickly collapses

I'm here now mate.. Thank god I payed extra for vip as absolutely packed out. I get info but you know the score. They only tell me bits. But the bits I do get are usually spot on. I'm not bothered about betting odds on aslong as they win. I missed the price on Light infantry no value at 6/4. I'm here more for the day out today so only upto now had 50 on swingalong top 4. I may back the beckett horse later but will see what it looks like in the paddock 1st. You have a great day mate.

Pleased to hear you made it pay Manc.

I appreciate that your info may not lead to you printing it for yourself but if it gives you an edge long term it must be good thing.

I can only speak for myself but I would always be interested in any snippets and wouldn't shoot the messenger whenever things went pear.

I'm off to Chester races on friday if you've got any tips. Cheers
Hi mate.. Had a look through the card as the decelerations are out. Chester is now owned by the tote so they make the cards as hard as possible. I'm not interested in any of the Handicaps. The one I would back would be berkshire nugget thinks it's in the 2nd race. Andrew Balding has a great record at Chester and a long way from kingsclear to Chester. The horse will improve on its 4th at Newmarket which was a pretty hot maiden. Keeping on without being battered. I would expect the horse to be around the 5/2 11/4 mark so I would back it at them prices. If it was something ridiculous like 6/4 I wouldn't touch it. Everything with me is price and ground dependant. Most of all have a great day out. Chester is a wonderful City.

thanks for that. I'll certainly have a little flutter on it. We did Chester races in August and between the three of us got all 7 winners on the day with all three of us having five winners. So we came out with a handsome profit but to balance that out the previous two occasions we've been we've barely had a winner.

currently shows on oddschecker to be 7/4. [drawn in 7]

Yeah I think you will get better on the day. The draw wouldn't matter as much in this race. The horse has gate speed so can negate the draw. Also with these inexperienced horses it might be best just sitting off the pace. Probert is a good jockey anyway with a good tactical mind. Anyway mate back to the grind. Lol.

Balding always seems to have plenty of winners at Chester and him/probert are my favourite trainer/jockey combo. I think Berkshire is a good shout as Baldings horses tend to improve massively after their 1st run. My only worry would be those drawn 1,2 & 3 have had at least 2 runs and would expect them to jump smartly from the gate.

Love Chester and have been several times. Going Friday to watch from the walls with a few beers and in the Longrooms Saturday (Balding seems to have 1 in every race atm so if he has a good day then so will i!!)

Yeah been hundreds of times, not as good as it was but still a very unique course and great night out around Chester. I did have vip tickets for the ledger meeting on Saturday but my ex army friends have booked me a 2 week visit to Miami to stay with them. Might goto the races there at gulfstream instead. Lol. Like I said earlier, the horse could be different gear to these as I done the vids on the other runners and nothing special out of them drawn inside. The rest of the card to put it mildly is garbage but you can expect that as Doncaster on the same day.

Evening guys. I will post a message I received. Hope we get a few winners. I'm travelling to the States early Saturday. Obviously I cannot post this every time due to privacy but I will post whenever I can.

Yep, it looks like it could go off a short price favourite, Most bookies have it at best 6/4. Looking thru the whole card it seems very difficult to pick out the winners but will give it a go. Enjoy your trip to the States.

Cheers mate. Yes I had another look at the card and like you say mission impossible. I won't be backing the balding horse as too short. I'm not going to get the 5/2 11/4 so will let it run and hope it wins if you back it.. I might actually lay one. Wonderwall. How the hell this is 2/1 God only knows. It's a one paced plodder. It will be over bet just on the name alone. I would be astounded if the horse wins. I would make it a 10/1 shot at best. I respect the trainer but he isn't a miracle worker. Lol. You have a great time and it looks like the weather is going to hold up.

You guys talk in code!! No idea what the hell You're on about .. Lol.Can't do Betfair.. No idea how it works... But love reading your blogs.

Just checked it is 33s now not such a great bet keep it small. Tongue tie added, change for a better jockey 3lb claim, best run was its first run over similar soft/heavy ground, been fading late so drop to 1 mile should suit.

Not watched any of it busiest working day of my life Thank the Lord it’s Friday!
