Naughty Neil. Tut tut.
I’d laugh if he turned out to be Tommy’s dad.

Last night Catherine was talking to 2 blokes in a house , 1 older (sat down) 1 younger (stood up ) about what had happened etc . that scene lost me as i couldnt recall who they were. Can someone clear that up for me please
Oh that was Clare then and not Catherine *pedant mode off *One was her boyfriend Neil the other her Nephew Ryan.
Yep, you have to reallyLala never watched this ,but gonna start tonight ,is it worth starting from series 1 episode 1 ?.
Thank you have a good evening.Yep, you have to really
You tooThank you have a good evening.
Great episode tonight….Catherine needs to watch outRamping up nicely now for the penultimate episode .
Yes the various story lines are merging nicely now, very well written.Ramping up nicely now for the penultimate episode .
I think the first 2 episodes were a bit slower for setting the scene but we are making up for it now.The writing by Sally Wainwright is so clever - she's got a great mind!
Sarah as always, has been outstanding.
Anything could happen next week.
We will allow a little artistic licence as a pay off for the adrenalin rush we getThought the court escape scene was very far fetched to be honest.
She's got a very creative & scarey mind.I think the first 2 episodes were a bit slower for setting the scene but we are making up for it now.
She is a marvellous writer, script and plot. A talent indeed.
I recognised that as I used to work in bolton. The scene where he cycled away looked like manchester city centre.I watched the filming of him running away from court. Held up my lunch hour. Past the Greyhound on Deansgate in Bolton.
I bet that actress couldn't walk for weeks after being put in that suitcaseHe did well fitting her into that suitcase
That would incur an excess baggage fee.He did well fitting her into that suitcase
I remember stopping this guy at Luton Airport. He did well fitting her into that suitcase
Some Courts ive attended its possible that could have happened, doubtful but possible.Gripping but the escape was far fetched but hey, great watch.
I know ! I noticed that bonkers , he gets everywhere
Yeah, me too!I know ! I noticed that bonkers , he gets everywhere
"I'd like to make a counter claim against a man called Owen Oyston."
I love Alison, and the real life actress that is Susan Lynch. Unusual looking lady with very striking features and great actress.Yeah, me too!
As ever, some cracking dialogue and quality insults - Catherine describing Royce as a wankertron last night
Can't help thinking this is leading to a final episode where Royce has Catherine captive and she's saved by Ryan - or maybe Alison the farmer, she'd be handy with a shotgun
Excellent ! Glad you enjoyedSeries 1 watched brill.
Yes it was. Not that it couldn't happen but two low level criminals creating a disturbance and not many police about?Thought the court escape scene was very far fetched to be honest.
Agree regarding the chemist, it did seem a radical change of personality. Loved season 1 & 2 not sure about this one so far.Yes it was. Not that it couldn't happen but two low level criminals creating a disturbance and not many police about?
The whole point of Happy Valley is that its like your watching real life yet this seem to come straight out of netflix.
The other thing is the chemist guy. Unless I've missed something he seems to have had a complete change of personality. After being rear ended by the teacher he went from a nervous, scared of his own shadow person to cocky calm and in control. All after being confronted by the husband of someone he's just murdered. Like the PE teachers kindness talking to Ryan in the gym it didn't ring true.
They have a hell of a lot of loose ends to tie up next week with Tommy Lee, the dead lady in the suitcase and the 2 stooges who think they are bucking the 30k.Well……the seeds have been sown. Next week set to be a blockbuster!
Apparently they have filmed 5 different endings
Yes they will link the chemist back to the lady in the suitcase when they discover he was supplying her with the drugs. They have a hell of a lot of loose ends to tie up next week with Tommy Lee, the dead lady in the suitcase and the 2 stooges who think they are bucking the 30k.
It will be a very busy last episode!

Argh Widdop ! I wondered where that was. Stayed at a pub there called The Packhorse years ago.Felt a fairly low key (not a criticism) episode, yet very intense/suspenseful.
Some lovely shots of Widdop Reservoir as well. Love walking around there.
