That's just Preston generallyOn remand in Preston prison, which I have heard is an absolute cesspit!
So, it's not just FTFC that's Bu****ed then? Not long to go now Mr P - wonder if he’s in training with porridge for breakfast and keeping hold of that soap in the shower

Didn't I read somewhere that a huge bail had been paid for him? Maybe not?On remand in Preston prison, which I have heard is an absolute cesspit!
He was refused any bail due to flight risk.Didn't I read somewhere that a huge bail had been paid for him? Maybe not?
No. You don’t get bail when you’ve been convicted of an offence that carries a lengthy sentence.Didn't I read somewhere that a huge bail had been paid for him? Maybe not?
Agree especially at his age.Ouch, if he's in Preston prison that won't be pleasant. Knew someone who spent time in there, in the 1990s only a short period. But that was more than enough for him. Even now I can't imagine it's too much different.
It’s only what pilley deserves for ripping off disabled charities etc. caused loads of people to lose their small businesses whilst he was living the high life without a care in the world for these poor peopleOuch, if he's in Preston prison that won't be pleasant. Knew someone who spent time in there, in the 1990s only a short period. But that was more than enough for him. Even now I can't imagine it's too much different.
I have heard that it is one of the worst, with the whole remand wing stinking ofOuch, if he's in Preston prison that won't be pleasant. Knew someone who spent time in there, in the 1990s only a short period. But that was more than enough for him. Even now I can't imagine it's too much different.
That’s a shame for him but he will have to get used to it.I have heard that it is one of the worst, with the whole remand wing stinking of
Fleetwood fans think it’s business as usual and nothing to be at all concerned aboutObviously this is an important issue for him and his family. But I must confess I'm more interested in what will happen to the club. He's built it up and sustained it to an unsustainable degree. I'm mildly surprised that their fans appear not to be talking about it to any great extent that I can see.
If you read the cod army FB page they're in denial.Obviously this is an important issue for him and his family. But I must confess I'm more interested in what will happen to the club. They’re both probably on holiday.Obviously this is an important issue for him and his family. But I must confess I'm more interested in what will happen to the club. In what ways are they in denial? As far as I see it, Pilley will go down for a stretch and will want his assets when he comes out. His businesses will continue and so there will always be money there. OK maybe not as much but he's already made the investment in the ground etc and you get enough TV money nowadays that if you spend it wisely you can survive a few seasons at this level. If you read the cod army FB page they're in denial.
Surely they'll become an Accrington or a Morecambe with a smaller budget and needing an exceptional manager to maintain L1 and maybe even L2.
Poolfoot is an interesting one.
Who wants to do business with a convicted fraudster? Who is going to licence a business run by a convicted fraudster? In what ways are they in denial? As far as I see it, Pilley will go down for a stretch and will want his assets when he comes out. His businesses will continue and so there will always be money there. Not to mention the "Fit & Proper" testWho wants to do business with a convicted fraudster? Who is going to licence a business run by a convicted fraudster?
Then there’s the asset forfeiture…
So why do they make continue to make losses virtually every year then and are in debt to the tune of 25 million ?In what ways are they in denial? As far as I see it, Pilley will go down for a stretch and will want his assets when he comes out. His businesses will continue and so there will always be money there. That banner at Bury was made by some young nomark trying to be an ultra. Him and his mates thinking they were some European style ultras.“Oyston in”- Bury banner
”Oyston in” - Fleetwood banner.
Is it going to be Karma or coincidence.
Over crowding at the jail has seen the operating capacity drop from over a 1000 to 680 in recent years.I have heard that it is one of the worst, with the whole remand wing stinking of
I suppose it depends upon what you mean by "going down the pan".I think a few on here are in for a very long wait if they think Fleetwood are going down the pan any time soon.
Not so sure it will be ‘business as usual’ for his businesses particularly BES, can’t see it continuing also his assists will be subject to a POCA application by the prosecutor. I’d agree with most of that.I suppose it depends upon what you mean by "going down the pan".
As it happens, I don't expect that there will be any quick demise either. But I do think that they are going to :
1) have to dramatically reduce expediture
2) have to try to sweat out. even more revenue (difficult, as they have done pretty well in that regard)
3) need to work hard to find a new owner who can keep them competitive - not easy as they aren't what you would call an attractive commercial proposition
They are an interesting case study - one of the first of the genuine vanity projects, and one of the few where there has been a big change in the status of the person bankrolling said project. I think the EFL have a lot to contend with in this instance. I just hope any Proceeds of Crime order focusses exclusively on the non-football part of his business interests, because if it doesn't, the club really is in trouble.
