9 nights Costa del sol end of march
14 nights gran canaria in may
Scotland in August and also October

Then main holiday in November which will be Mexico, dubai or Thailand depending what covid is circulating

Nice hearing about all your planned holidays, the Fylde coast must be booming! We are all skint down here in Cambridge so might have a few weeks on my allotment!

I’m in Torremolinos too at present (apartment in El Pinar). If you are here on Saturday and want to watch the game with a fellow Pool fan, my local bar will have our game on.

Spain is not listed for international broadcast according to Seasideone’s list from yesterday??

What's Sharm like now as I really used to like it before the Plane blowing up and Covid?

Many places closed???
Yea it’s our first time back since….we always used to come every Jan…it’s a great place and the staff are lovely and are asking when will the British all come back.
Everything is open but Quiet but I’m sure now the covid restrictions are being lifted it will bounce back…I noticed bookings on the Tui website picked up a lot the last few weeks for the summer..

Cruise round the Fjords in April, been on my bucket list for years and booked it 18 months ago and paid monthly so barely noticed the money going out. Hoping to go to Germany in august with the missus, looking somewhere like . Rothenburg. Couple of UK breaks with mates and family booked
Has anyone dove a cruise in the last 6 months?

Hoping to do the Baltic cruise that cancelled last year but would be gutted if it was limited in some ways?

Is there any current issues getting on and off the boats - for example being forced to do organised excursions?

Fjords are amazing Hankey. Did you book a balcony, as the views in the morning sat with a brew are spectacular. Enjoy!
Yeah had to splash out on a balcony purely for the views. This is a bit of a Holliday of a lifetime for me so just thought may as well go all out. Last thing I’m thinking about is the all inclusive drinks package…..it’s about £460 for the week and you get drinks upto £6.95 in value included. That price is for me my wife and our two kids…..I do fancy that, it’s going to be the best part of £15-£20 a round for us 4 so think it’s decent value for the week

Stavanger
Olden
Alesund
Haugesund

Been on countdown for over 500 days and now it’s around 73 seriously can’t wait
Stavanger was our starting point too. Alesund was where Daniel Gretarsson played before coming to us. There's a statue of Jon Arne Riise in the town. Beautiful place apart from that.

Tenerife Feb/March
Florida April/May
Berlin June ( with ‘boys’)
Spain (Nerja) September
Mate - When you say "Berlin with 'boys'", is there any chance you can elaborate more, before I envisage you in platforms and a glittery outfit while strutting your stuff to 'You wannabe in my gang, my gang, my gang.......'

Just asking for a friend 🤣😉

Sweden in March visiting the Mrs’ family.
Amalfi Coast in September.

Two stag doos in, one in rural Wales and one in Benidorm 😬

Nowhere planned…..maybe a few days in the Trough of Bowland….which I might add is great. There are a few places we would like to walk and visit again and also for the first time.
Would love to book another cruise but not this year…the better half wants to do some work on our bathroom( to acknowledge the fact we are not getting any younger) and is saving up for whatever( she won’t tell me yet in case I blow a fuse) it is.
Having said all that we are retired and have been for a while and just sitting out in our back garden when the weather is good is these days more than enough.

Cruise and stay Nashville ,Memphis,New Orleans cruise round the Caribbean in three weeks then long weekend in Torremolinos a week later

Scotland in may, 32 of us golfing, turkey sept 4 of us trying it golfing, Amsterdam March for my birthday with the Missus 🥳
Might try a cruise in July round the med

Those booze prices seem familiar. Is it a P&O cruise? Remember this though, If you buy the drinks package for you then your wife has to have it too. So it could be close on 80 quid for the two of you. If you've got plenty of days just cruising then the drinks package can be well worth it. But if you've got a few days where you are going to be ashore most of the day, then it takes some doing to get through that amount of drink to get your monies worth. And of course, you don't want tp be waking up the following day with a hangover. A balcony is a great experience too for just watching the scenery.

I’m off to Geneva next Tuesday for 2 nights 😱🥶

Booked it last night. Staying city centre and 5 mins walk from Lake Geneva.

It coincides with the Geneva Lux festival which is a light and art extravaganza that takes place all over the city and lake from 5pm until midnight for a week which should lend itself to some decent sights and photographs.

Fancied the challenge of another solo trip abroad and am very excited 😆

Hopefully Blackpool for a week on the lash
Gonna drive from holland and find a nice guesthouse with parking
Around september

I was wondering the same. We usually do a cruise every summer - Med, Canaries, Northern Europe.
My wife is part of a Cruise Facebook group, and there's mixed reviews, with plenty reporting there are still plenty of restrictions i.e. facemasks indoors / having to book tables for shows / not allowed to get off at some ports / coach trips onlys / tests galore
For me, the reason we go on cruises is for the variety of choice, so until things ease off, we gonna stay in the UK

My gang ………from Thatched

I'm hopefully lining up a Summer expedition to West Papua with a couple of mates. Will go somewhere nice in Spain with the current Mrs GT as well 🏝️👍

Bulgaria (Pomorie) at the end of may for 9 nights - looking forward to it.

Those going Crete (Agia marina we ended up at) we went there in September and the weather was 34 on our last day lovely weather for the time of year.

Enjoy Fellow Seasiders

With the holiday restrictions appearing to be fully lifted this year, where is everybody planning to go? Thought of doing several city breaks rather than just one two week holiday. Any great cities spring to mind to try?
Going to Bournemouth for 6 nights in July. Booked it last August for just £348.50 but if I booked it now for the same dates, it would be £590.90. Bloody hell it just shows you how far in advance you need to book things in this day and age!

Some of us live in places where the government still has three-week mandatory hotel quarantine in place, so will be strictly travelling vicariously through everyone else until this 🦠 💩 ends

I went Lanzarote in December it was a fantastic holiday but it's put me off going abroad again with all the faffing about, at the time of booking the restrictions weren't that bad, it could all change again in a few months there's bound to be another variant. I'm staying in England for mine this year and possibly beyond, Weymouth around easter I think.

I’ll have to go somewhere this year as 3 years without a proper holiday will be too much. Thinking Greece, maybe Lindos.

One thing though, the changing rules in other countries is still a right pain in the arse. Our 16 year old was due to go to Gran Canaria with with his mates family at Xmas. That got cancelled as the rules changed to say 16 year olds needed 2 vaccines and he and his mate had only had 1, with not enough time to have the second.
The lads have had their 2nd jabs, the family rebooked for Easter and now Spain has changed the rules to say 16 year olds need the booster. And there’s not enough time to get that...
Always get the trip fully refunded but it’s a faff and the lad keeps getting his hopes up only to be ‘let down’ again.

Fingers crossed that all countries start to ease restrictions soon and things get easier. It’s obvious that most people need to get a proper break now.

Belfast on Friday; to visit family, but it's the first plane I've been in since December 2019 so feels like a holiday!

Devon in early July for a week; it's sort of work/holiday.

Crete for 2 weeks mid/late August. Family holiday.

Can't wait.

Depends which cruise company you're going with regarding the drinks prices. Royal Caribbean seem to be more expensive than say P&O. £460 for the week is very good and I'd definitely take it.

A couple of weekends in Holmfirth (tied in with gigs at The Picturedome).

A week on the Lancaster Canal in a narrow boat.
We’ve been looking at the Lancaster Canal too. I’ve been on a few narrowboat holidays and they’re very relaxing. We need to find one that’s dog friendly though

Mine have been moved for the 3rd time... so got benners with lads in May...Canada in July and Cape verde for Xmas.... if they don't happen this year then I give up.
New tui hotel just opened santa maria palace in sal check it out , it's on my radar

Just booked 13 night in Italy flying into Bergamo
Plan to tour the Italian Lakes / Dolomites for three-four days and then maybe take in Verona / Venice after which we'll head down to Tuscany and then amble back up towards Milan via Cinque Terre and Barolo

Also looking at renting a large villa in Croatia in August for Mrs TAMs 50th if anyone has any recommends - currently looking at Trogir area
