Honest appraisal of today’s match

So, if we were average and easily beat you 2 - 0

What's going to happen when you play the next 5 games against....Bournemouth, Forest, Cardiff, Middlesbrough & Fulham
They all going to be 'Average'......Because I cant see you getting more than 1 or 2 points from those games....and relegation must be calling.....

You're team was average today and your fans were pathetic...even you gave them stick over on your forum for vandalising the toilets at Bloomfield.

1 your manager isn’t up to the job
2 your fans don’t actually do much supporting when you go a goal behind
3 you’re now in a survival battle as Coventry was clearly a fluke result
4 Blackpool won
5 easily
6 and our fans are the best in the league
7 and our coach is the best in the league
8 and we are superior
9 did I mention Blackpool won?
10 and our owner is the best in the league

Giro...there were at least 3 totally cynical fouls by your lot In positions where we could have created great chances ..in fact more than that downright dangerous especially the third one.
The rules about last defender are an effing joke...you got what you deserved which was fuck all.
And was despite Bowler hurdling two waist high challenges going down the right in the first half that the ref could easily have gone back with retrospective bookings.

We were better all round despite missing key players.

I thought Preston were ponderous and couldn't cope with us. A better final ball on a few occasions and it could have been a real hammering.

On a serious note…. How utterly embarrassing that you would come on here as a Preston fan and attempt to call this O/P an honest appraisal.

You were literally sent home in the most embarrassing fashion I’ve ever seen. Literally the single most rubbish team and more importantly rubbish fans I’ve ever seen in 40 years…

Get away with you ….

Alright Blackpool were well worth their lead in the first half . Second half Preston came out about 5 minutes early and really went at the pool and apart for one good chance never really laid a glove on the Pool.

Let's not forget we also have no Lavery whos another top finisher, Maxwell who's been the main keeper, although no issue today, grimmy did what was needed.

Dale and Carey the stars of Reading were left on the bench and Carey only got a brief stint.

Still were far the better side.

Honest appraisal.

Blackpool were by far the better team.

Preston had moments but from simply hoofing it.

Ben Whiteman - dear Lord that was PNE's moment and he missed it terribly. A shocking miss

FM's substitutions made Preston completely lose shape whilst they were starting to really probe and cause us to retreat.

Taking Johnson off was a complete blessing for us. He's North End's best player by a country mile. I know he took a knock but he'd been in amongst it after that.

The rest of the game we just saw North End out. Big Gaz performed mastery of shithousery after his goal on a couple of occasions. He's a joy to behold!

Northend were rudderless and toothless in both support, players and manager.

Not even out of second gear and breezed past the inferior white shite. Imagine having to watch that every week. I would be hanging myself off the m55 if I was Giro

Can you please thank the small group of unwashed that tried a little rendition of “Blackpool get battered” until the rest pointed out that, that was wishful thinking at best?

Also - consistent homophobic chanting by your knuckle dragging Ambassadors is just embarrassing.

I wish some of you would give over. 1950'spool fan says we've got to be magnaminous in victory and not rub it in.

Preston were the worst side I’ve seen yet. Even worse than Barnsley. You could be in trouble Giro. It certainly hope so.

I’ve considered matters overnight, and with calm reflection you’re still fookin’ shite.

That was a relegation performance by a team bereft of quality, ideas or leadership ‘backed’ by 2000 Trappist monk impressionists.

We are, on any interpretation, SUPERIOR in every way

I had a look through their forum they are a bit all over the place with their general assessment of the situation our clubs find themselves in.
They say that there isn't one player in our squad that would get in theirs, really!! I find that hard to believe.
Another one says we create a good atmosphere because we haven't had to suffer 60 years of shite like they have. Which then makes me think how are we forever in their shadow if the last 60 years have been so bad for them!
We have had some great times even with the Oystons in charge.
Very confused bunch, miserable aswell.

I was surprised at just how bad they were. I genuinely thought they'd be more of a challenge but we were better at every facet of the game.

Their only resort was to take Bowler out as they simply couldn't deal with him with no pace or nous.

When in possession of the ball, they had no real option other than to hoof it forward.

Outclassed is the only word and we had plenty in reserve.

If you did had more gears, it looked like you’d got a dodgy clutch!🤔
Oh, Giro. “Clutching“………do you mean at straws?
You can’t “lilywhitewash” over the facts.
You were 2nd best.

Have you counted how many are telling you?
Quit with some dignity.

They were absolutely clueless yesterday and created very little with no strikers of note. They made a big mistake in appointing Frank McAvoy as manager and it’s very evident. Their players got absolutely dogs abuse as they went over to their fans at the end of the match and they couldn’t turn quick enough to get away from them and sown the tunnel.

Giro old bean think you are off the mark here. Before game I was concerned that our rooky keeper might be exploited but he was hardly tested.
You were tactically inept resorting to hoof ball and long throws.
Andersons goal had spin and curve and looked like it was going wide but was placed to perfection.
Your fans were quiet.
We didn't need to get out of 2nd gear.
Take care pal worrying times for PNE ahead on that showing.

Preston get battered everywhere they go
Preston get battered everywhere they goooo
Everywhere they goooo
123
Preston get battered everywhere they go
Preston get battered everywhere they goooo
Everywhere they goooo
123
....and repeat

Gaz's shithousery really is a work of art, almost up there with GTF.

They have been ahead of us a lot so how's that work. We're the club that suffered way more.

The fact is even when doing well a couple of years ago their support nowhere near matches ours.

Full of excuses.

1. A truly awful game to watch

2. Neither keeper had to make a save.

3.Both goals down to shyte defending.

4. It pains me to say this. But the best of two rather average sides, won.
One team tried to bring the other down to their level, but luckily the other team were obviously superior.

I can see now how PNE are where they are.
I think that's the dirtiest side this season at BR.
Could/should have had at least one sent off much earlier in the game.
The Ref was OK up to a point, but afraid to make the big decisions when they were obvious,

Trying to be constructive on behalf of the Nobbers.

Riis looks a mobile big target man and could come good if they do more than lump the ball 50 yards at him. Daniel Johnson looks a skilful player in midfield and they’ve got 3 or 4 wide players (2 were left on the bench) who in a more creative set up could create plenty of chances.

Issue was they basically reminded me of teams like Rochdale who have done a little bit of scouting and decide we ‘don’t like it up ‘em’ so line up to kick us off the park and go long ball.

Dinosaur football can work in the odd game, but over a season it’ll leave you struggling to create chances (as Cardiff are now finding as are Burnley)

Too late for a doctor...it's a miracle worker they need now.
They'll be busy today building another coffin!!!!
