I really don't get this reaction to Zouma.

OK, he has been rather silly and I'm certainly not putting him up as a hero but it would appear that many are not going to be happy unless he never plays pro football again.

He's apologised, been fined 250 large, he's getting help and his cats have been taken away from him, surely time to move on.

You have a point. I have been very vocal about this especially aimed at someone on here who basically said he didn’t give a toss what he did as he didn’t have pets etc! but yeah maybe now that he has been punished and surely learnt his lesson, we move on.

Not sure it's too much like Boris Mates.

To be honest with you, Boris didn't come in to my mind when I said what I did, I was not suggesting that everybody who did something wrong should be able to apologise and just get away with it.

Zouma kicked his cat, certainly nothing that he should be proud of but he is not a serial killer.

Caveat for AVFTT drama queens - I am not suggesting that Boris Johnson is a serial killer or that he can just apologise and move on.
