Appears a decent amount of Footballers/Celebrities are completely out of control. To me it’s such childish behaviour, I’d expect that from a 6 year old. A mate at work always says it’s like they have to push the boundaries to get a thrill, like what we think is amazing is every day stuff to them. Almost….feel sorry for them until I see what they get up to.

Watched it last night, sickened beyond belief. Genuinely couldn’t sleep for a couple of hours. We lost our cat Morty a couple of weeks ago, but at least he was loved and treated like a family member every day of his life, so to see one get treated like this is equal parts heartbreaking and enraging. His apology that it was a one off is meaningless and someone should take any animals out of his house immediately. 😡

Really sorry to hear about Monty 😔

It would be the RSPCA not the Police that would pursue this
I’ll be very surprised if the RSPCA don’t prosecute him for that. Having just watched it I feel physically sick the way he was hunting the cat down. the poor cat was running for its life. That slap that knocked the cat off the worktop could have killed it, and right in front of a young child is even worse. What kind of an example is he setting, disgusting 😔

And his brother must be a proper bright lad who filmed and posted it on social media thinking it was fcukin hilarious! Proper 🛎 ender!

Absolute scumbag.

I hope he gets kicked, punched and thrown around by a mob where he can't fight back, give him a taste of what its like.

His apology is a joke as well, always is when people are just sorry people found out what scum they are they weren't sorry at all you wouldn't do it otherwise.

Hope he gets hounded wherever he goes.

Pretty sure that woman who was filmed hitting a horse a few weeks ago lost her job, would like to see the same outcome but I highly doubt it. Absolute scumbag
Yes, she was a teacher and lost her job after a disciplinary. If anything the abuse in this video was worse because of the size of the animal

What a sad world. It is easy to link this to the other abuse proceedings going on against footballers at the moment, young men treated like gods who behave like devils

I hate West Ham and I hate anyone who's cruel to an animal.

On a different note, his next move to The Black Cats must now be in doubt

I hadn't seen all of that.

We've all pushed cats out of the house with a little tap on the bum with your foot, when they don't want to go; but, to kick it's stomach? Then to get a child to pick it up and put it on the kitchen worksurface so you can whack it! Really!

As for the idiot filming it and then posting it - just why??

I love the strength of feeling against this episode of animal cruelty. However this isn't even in the same universe to the levels of violence and cruelty towards animals in the name of providing you with your McDonalds/bacon sandwich/milk on your cornflakes.

Just because one happens on Instagram and the other in secret behind closed doors, doesn't change the fact of what actually happens.

If you don't milk a cow doesn't it explode?

I've just contacted the Met Police by email to ask why they won't be investigating it. Probably nothing will come of it, but the more people who complain to them about this, then maybe they will do something.
I did a quick Google earlier on whether it’s a criminal offence, and although I didn’t look too deeply, it looked like it’s down to the RSPCA to prosecute.
Also, very randomly, if the animal belongs to someone else they can be prosecuted for criminal damage of property!!

It should be a police matter imo.

It happened the other day, and as has been made clear, they don't investigate retrospective cases 😉🤣
