Once again being beaten by an og and a team that's no better than us.
I'm not having a go at Hubby but so much of our play comes from him and he just doesn't quite have the ability to deliver.
I've always said that top teams are built around top full backs and in Connolly and Hubby we've got solid players that are lacking flair.
The game is far from over and we can still turn this round.
 
admittedly im sketchy as to what is offside these days but Bell is stood offside,makes a movement towards the ball and has surely affected Maxwells approach to dealing with it?
 
For me we need 2 new central midfielders, Anderson was good against Birmingham but he has been awful today and I still don't think he would be a loss if we sold him for a decent price. Central midfield is absolutely the area we need to strengthen and we also need wingers who can beat a player and cross a ball because Bowler will be gone. That is why I would like to see Madine or Beesley in the middle up front with Yates and Lavery on either side and interchanging,

So, 2 central midfielders, an attacking left back, cover for Gabriel, another forward and a winger or two.
 
One othe thing ive noticed is how much we can give away headers, often we just head it forward only for it to be picked up again bu the opposition.

Whereas more often you see other sides heading to the players.

For me thats an area to improve.

But were in the game just need to make something happen.

Agree, and what's worse is they often have time and space to chest control the ball to feet
 
All I can hear is the Pool fans 👏 👏
Pity the ref is being conned by the Luton players breaking up play by falling over, otherwise the fans would have more to shout about

We just done the same several times again already this half.
