Fleetwood Cabs - 01253 872222 - I know you're FY6 but I've used them multiple times from FY7 when we've had flights at ungodly hours and they have always been spot on. They cover pretty much all of Fylde.
 
How much is a return taxi (roughly)? I’m going Liverpool and it’s just over £70 parking for a week so just wondering if worth getting taxi.

Airport parking is far better, you're looking at £160-£180 return for a taxi so £70 parking and £20 for fuel is much cheaper.

However a group of 6-8 is different, Sunrise Travel are doing £180 return for a 8 seater mini bus which is good value.

I've always just added taxi to cost of holiday can't be doing with penny pinching whilst away.

Taxi broke down once on the motorway and they sent another car I'd have missed my flight if drove as for trains mates son had to go and pick him up and take him to Manchester airport when it didn't arrive totally unreliable.
 
eight of us have just used cleveleys airport taxis in the last couple of weeks without a problem. Used them a few times over the last few years as well.

I used to use Dawsons, stopped 3 years ago and moved my business to Whitesides
Living in Poulton (Providing they are not on strike!) I try to book flights that Zi can use the train straight into the terminal.
Meet & Greet a good option but only use official ones.
Finally, if an early flight have a look at hotel and free parking it can take some of the stress out of budgeting for unexpected traffic jams.

Just under £60 in T1/T3 mid-term car park for 1 week and I'll be putting my car there at 04.15 tomorrow (Friday) before jetting off on my International Break. ☀️😎

Left my son and family at Manchester said they couldn’t get a cab, told them they would have to get one from the airport and Dawsons would refund his return fare. Terrible attitude and service

Who? I'm talking about Cleveleys airport taxis not Dawsons. Dawsons wouldn't refund a fare if the problem was Cleveleys airport taxis.
 
Eve never had a problem with cleveleys airport services or Dawsons travel
Used sunshine travel a few years back and the driver was falling asleep all the way back never used em since I shat myself. Good job hubby sat in the front and kept the driver talking
 
For £165 you can probably get an airport hotel 14 days parking and have a few hours extra kip.

If you have an early flight it might be worth driving and staying O/N and saving the 3am aggro.

Rather than stay at the airport ones there's a pub/hotel about 10 mins away that does free 2 weeks parking which makes for a stress free start. Rooms are decent enough, food good and ale is OK. Nice 10pm turnin and a 4.30am up.

Cost between doing that and a taxi is about the same.

Parking complety hassle free.
Passport and security hassle free.
However it took 30+mins to get a coffee from Costa at 5am.
The terminal was very busy but flight was pretty much on time.

We've used 'Airport & Cruise Transfers' the last couple of times.
Last year paid £125 round trip, but probably gone up now.
