Not bothered either way about Appleton. And TBH I don’t completely get the hype around LR. He may be a decent punt but that’s all.
are we looking for a new groundsman?
I could do with some of that !'What can you press lad? I weigh 170, pressed 320, ** takes work that, zero percent body fat they said, what's your daily routine? Legs everyday for me no matter what else, sort of protein you getting?'
Shiny new toy syndrome on full display today. Not bothered either way about Appleton. And TBH I don’t completely get the hype around LR. He may be a decent punt but that’s all.
What has Rosenior done that warrants his right to coach in the Championship.Sacked at Blackburn after leaving us,failed at Lincoln has lost other Wembley finals also and one promotion from Lge 2 with Oxford hardly puts him down as coach of the year.
He's a lower level manager and no right to coach in the Championship.
Stays places longer than the CritchmeisterHe’s not that bad folks. He’s competent and seems to know what he’s doing, don’t think he’s a particularly loyal type and never seems to stay anywhere very long. Let’s get someone with a bit of charisma, would prefer Jose Riga at least he was dapper.
What a strange statementLancs Live now saying that Appleton is having 3rd interview, both he and Rosenior already having had 2.
Appleton and I'll choose my games thanks, might aswell have gone back for Larry.
Hopefully Appleton gives the right answers and this this Rosenior kid gets binnedI am intrigued by what questions you would ask in a third interview that you have n't already asked in the first two?
All I can think of is his bank or building society detailsI am intrigued by what questions you would ask in a third interview that you have not already asked in the first two?
Errrr coached in the Championship?Maybe Simon Sadler should have had a poll on avftt and in the Gazette asking who they should employ?
What has Rosenior done that warrants his right to coach in the Championship.
Serious question btw
Would be a great manager and sounds a really decent bloke too.. would be happy if it was him to be honest...Still time to go and get Warburton.
If people think Critchley's style of play was turgid, they obviously don't remember Appleton's short stay. What a strange statement
Nothing comes with slate same as Critch did Appleton has been a failure and had plenty of time to prove he's worth a crack at another Championship club since getting sacked at Blackburn.Maybe Simon Sadler should have had a poll on avftt and in the Gazette asking who they should employ?
What has Rosenior done that warrants his right to coach in the Championship.

So if he stayed for a couple of years that would be better then?We suffered for years under the stains, we didn’t boycott after 65 days.
Appleton left to go to Rovers, he didn’t walk out to no wage etc.Talk about double standards! Many fans walked during the Oyscum regime and now Appleton is getting criticised for it! Good on him! Good on Riga and any other employee who buggered off from the shitshow.
I seem to remember Appleton was welcomed by many first time around because of his managerial qualities. If he's appointed again, he should be supported and welcomed again even more so after sticking 2 fingers up to the scum.
The baying mob already have the pitchforks out, I am the one at the front with the flaming torch and the pointed hat.We can’t judge him on his Oyston tenure can we? He was quick to realise it was a toxic situation and wasn’t desperate enough to hang around with Bowlhead long enough.
He got Lincoln very close to the Championship only for King Kenny to notch 2 not 1 so last season could have been a total role reversal.
Not my first choice but if selected as ever I will back him until the baying mob have the pitch forks out.
He might be a different manager with the support of SS and the team
I didn’t say that. The poster I was replying to compared him buggering off to us boycotting. So if he stayed for a couple of years that would be better then?
Maybe he had integrity, unlike the 1000 mushrooms who carried on attending. We have 3 STs we paid when we couldn’t go, we didn’t ask for a refund. We supported Critchley throughout his boring tippy tappy , backwards, sideways play. I don’t rate Appleton, he walked away last time, under the stains I know, I am still waiting for the exciting, entertaining football we were promised I don’t think we will get it under Appleton. My choice and I don’t expect anyone else to share my views and I’m not asking them to.
Trust away, I hope your trust is vindicated.Maybe he had integrity, unlike the 1000 mushrooms who carried on attending.
He saw the signs early and got out. That’s a plus for me.
I can’t comment on his style of play like all these experts on here though as I have not seen enough games of the teams he has managed.
We will see.

Course you can judge him on it... It shows a complete lack of ability to manage difficult relationships, which is an integral part of the role.We can’t judge him on his Oyston tenure can we? He was quick to realise it was a toxic situation and wasn’t desperate enough to hang around with Bowlhead long enough.

We have no option but to trust.Trust away, I hope your trust is vindicated.
Like the majority on here trusted in Critchley? We have no option but to trust.
not what I remember but hey each to their ownIf people think Critchley's style of play was turgid, they obviously don't remember Appleton's short stay.
I work one weekend in 3 so miss a proportion of games. I'll commit to a full season ticket for an appointment that excites me or has me wondering.
Appleton would do neither, so that would be my choice.
Not that I need to explain how I choose to use my monetary budget, to complete strangers on the Internet.
not what I remember but hey each to their own
Unless of course he gets us playing exciting, entertaining, attacking football and gets us into the playoffs. However, which is a posh word for but, he doesn’t engender affection with his non smiling, hard stare, just jumped out of a grave lookI just think this would kill the good feeling that's been around the club for the last few years.
But will Rosenior not need to go and have another cuddle with Rooney first ?If it's third interview time they're really down to the nitty gritty. Hopefully they'll also have a third Rosenior interview then it's between the two of them. Got to be a decision this week.
Exactly, didn’t they prepare properly for the first and then the second one?I am intrigued by what questions you would ask in a third interview that you have n't already asked in the first two?
Well, I hope you jolly well nutted him for staring at you like that…A guy with a hard stare, tatts, and prominent forehead was in Asda this morning.Oh he looked well mean.At first I thought it was Appers but on closer inspection I realised it was a new security guard.
I think you hit the nail on the head he's been a Potential top coach for 10 years and he's never made it.I don't understand the Appleton hate. He nearly got Lincoln promoted to the Championship playing attractive attacking football. He has always been rated as a potential top coach. His demeanor is not especially inspiring but I would be disappointed if the fan base didn't get behind him if he's appointed.
Unlike Rosenior, he has proved himself to be at least a capable manager.
What has Applton done to warrent a job in the Championship?Maybe Simon Sadler should have had a poll on avftt and in the Gazette asking who they should employ?
What has Rosenior done that warrants his right to coach in the Championship.

No I stood close by him and let rip with a salvo of farts then whistled Colonel Bogey tune as he gasped for breath reeling backwards from the stench.Well, I hope you jolly well nutted him for staring at you like that…
27Just wondering, seriously if anyone knows, how many interviews did Critchley have and is it usual to have 3 for a coach.
So a guy asks a genuine question and gets a childish reply something I’ve noticed your rather good at on here.
