Maybe Appleton?

A guy with a hard stare, tatts, and prominent forehead was in Asda this morning.Oh he looked well mean.At first I thought it was Appers but on closer inspection I realised it was a new security guard.

Unless Sadler and the board say welcome 🤷
Then they can say goodbye to mine and my daughters season ticket money.

It's already a hell of a lot to pay with the state of financial crisis going on, but I was willing to get them even though I don't go to every game.

If Appleton is manager then I'll just pick and chose which games I take my daughter too. That simple for me.

He’s one of them “I’m taking my season ticket back” type of managers. No thanks, he plays garbage football, he’s not interested in communicating to the fans and he’s just an average manager as a whole.
I don't give a flying fig if the new manager communicates with the fans or not.
I'd prefer a manager who
A. Gets his tactics right most of the time
B. Playes attractive football
C. Doesn't kiss the badge and make girlie 🧡 signs

I don't understand the Appleton hate. He nearly got Lincoln promoted to the Championship playing attractive attacking football. He has always been rated as a potential top coach. His demeanor is not especially inspiring but I would be disappointed if the fan base didn't get behind him if he's appointed.

Unlike Rosenior, he has proved himself to be at least a capable manager.

Pick and choose then, it's your choice at the end of the day.
Simple 🤷

If it’s Appleton then pool are in serious trouble , it’s saying to me , just do you best , if we go down then so be it
I think Sadler is struggling financially, really hope what I have typed here is 💩🤷

I agree with you 100% with all your points mate and that’s why Appleton is not good enough, he is a league one manager at best, he doesn’t inspire me at all

He has always been rated as a potential top coach ? He’s been managing for 11 years, that’s a long time waiting for potential to show itself.

Appleton?
No. Just no.
Have we lost our ambition?
We don't have the money to buy and pay top players, but if we want to get to the top of the tree we need to dig deep and get ourselves an experienced manager. Critchley took us up a notch, but to reach the absolute top you have to start to employ those who have been there, not those with limited success down in the lower divisions

Because mate if we appoint him as manager mate, then we might as well give up now, he just doesn’t inspire me at all, he is a league one manager at best for me, I’m sorry but that is not good enough for me 😔

Sort of flies in the face of the we want a young upcoming progressive coach type to me. But hey, SS is the boss.

Utilises the loan market well has been successful in the EFL and has prem league management experience a strong candidate imo

Good for you
We have 3 STs we paid when we couldn’t go, we didn’t ask for a refund. We supported Critchley throughout his boring tippy tappy , backwards, sideways play. I don’t rate Appleton, he walked away last time, under the stains I know, I am still waiting for the exciting, entertaining football we were promised I don’t think we will get it under Appleton. My choice and I don’t expect anyone else to share my views and I’m not asking them to.

Either that, or you were looking in a mirror.;)

I'd still get a ST (not bought yet as my lad waiting for the fixtures as he works shifts)

Boring outlook but we have to trust Sadler. Appleton would have a lot to prove though. Personally thought he did the right thing when he left as he'd clearly been lied to by filth.

Don't blame him for walking out at the end of the day we boycotted as well not my preferred choice in light of other name mentioned but ill back him and suspect he'd work hard to win over the fans.

We suffered for years under the stains, we didn’t boycott after 65 days.
