UTMP!
It’s not even a proper bridge!Had a look at the MFC forums match day thread
They seem to be expecting a straight forward win for Boro on Saturday (not surprising) and that big Mick will have us set up defensively (not surprising). What do a surprising thought is that they seem to think some bridge in Middlesbrough(??) is a more impressive structure than Blackpool Tower!Boro v Blackpool 3-0 (Akpom (2), McNair)

Try asking that question to anyone outside of Teesside boys!
bur surely it's better than ours !The transporter bridge is shit. went on it once as it's the only tourist thing to do up there.
Its been closed for 3 years. Best things (not necessarily in the borough of Middlesbrough: Saltburn (mini Lytham); Yarm (posh Teesside with nice High Street); Saltholme (for nature lovers - birds and seals); the modern art gallery (but its an hour max); white water rafting at the Tees Barrage on the Olympic course (awesome - but you need at least 6 or 7 people to make it anywhere near affordable)The transporter bridge is shit. went on it once as it's the only tourist thing to do up there.
Let's face it , this would be a very difficult game for any Championship team. Whilst any points gained would be very welcome the BIG gamesThis is a very big game for us. If the performance shows character and spirit then it gives hope of survival. Its a fascinating game and one I am really looking forward to.
Definitely get 1 PT on SaturdayI'd snatch your hand off for a point right now!
Tough tough game Boro won 8 of last 10 we have won zero in last ten. Not lost or drawn at home for some time. On paper we get beat, so anything is a bonus, a win would be massive shot in the arm for the whole club and send us on a winning run I’m sure.Definitely get 1 PT on Saturday
Spot on.Tough tough game Boro won 8 of last 10 we have won zero in last ten. Not lost or drawn at home for some time. On paper we get beat, so anything is a bonus, a win would be massive shot in the arm for the whole club and send us on a winning run I’m sure.

Cheers
Happy days, cheers for the info. Can't even remember where we parked last season lolWe have decided to go to boro on Saturday and there is FREE parking at France st car park. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby and only 10 minute walk to the ground. I’m parking here for sure
Hope this helps some that are driving
Postcode for France st car park is TS4 2AP
It’s not shit, it’s a pretty impressive structure and they are quite rightly proud of it, as are the good folk of Newport of theirs. The transporter bridge is shit. went on it once as it's the only tourist thing to do up there.
You missed Skinningrove off that listIt’s been closed for 3 years. Best things (not necessarily in the borough of Middlesbrough: Saltburn (mini Lytham); Yarm (posh Teesside with nice High Street); Saltholme (for nature lovers - birds and seals); the modern art gallery (but its an hour max); white water rafting at the Tees Barrage on the Olympic course (awesome - but you need at least 6 or 7 people to make it anywhere near affordable)
I'm confident.Play better against better sides.
Reckon we might just get a point or three.
It's also closed more than it's open and is a money pit. It’s not shit, it’s a pretty impressive structure and they are quite rightly proud of it, as are the good folk of Newport of theirs.
2pmAny team news yet
Unless he is leading Boro up a garden pathJust listened to Mick's pre match interview and he said they have been training with 5 at the back all week so I think we can safely say that is where we are going to be at for the rest of the season. Also stressed the need to scrap for everything so it's not going to be pretty either.
So 532 or some variation there of. I would think a back 3 of Nelson, Goode & Thorniley and we'll see if CJ is picked as a wing back again. Connolly could play right and Lyons left or Thommo left and Lyons right. Midfield is likely to be Trybull behind Patino, Bowler & Poveda with Yates up top, unless he prefers the physical presence of Gary up top. Bit too slow for me, we need a team that can counter at pace and he will never give us that.
He rarely wins the ball though when we go long. That is the last way we need to play we are shocking at itPlease don't play CJ at wing back, as we can't afford to have two non tacklers in the team (Josh being the other).
Gaz will start today and deploy his best shithousery. That'll also give us three good high ball winners for set pieces at both end.
Get stuck up em from the off boys - UTMP
I just made the same comment to our small matchday group.Just watching Everton v The Arse, a lot of similarities,
hoping for a similar performance first half
At least
