Had Phizer felt thirsty for 10 minutes an hour after jab...then nothing...all good !
Heard more reaction to the astra zeneca jab.

There's been fit people struck down !No thanks, only 52 and quite fit. Walk 10 miles a day mostly due to work. If it was a cure then no problem but why should I bother? At least if I do catch it without the jab at least I'll know about it and stay home.
One of my co workers had covid maybe 7 weeks ago,25 ish and very healthy, hasnt been back at work due to this long covid. Gets out of breath quick and has no energy to lift fairly light stuff. There's been fit people struck down !
It also looks like it helps stop transmission as well as curbing the excessive symptoms
Having had it ( mild ) I certainly wouldn't want it again
The inconvenience of going is minimal as it's that well run
Slight ache in my arm - to be expected as it’s my drinking arm and it hasn’t been used much over the last few monthsHad mine 2 months ago. No after effects at all, my wife had a bit of a sore arm for a day or so. Nothing to worry about. Take

Plus you don’t always know if you have an underlying health condition that has so far gone undetected.Tim, agree with that. I know a very fit 32 year old who died from Covid during the first wave. Not worth the risk for a minor inconvenience
The second jab doesn’t affect you if you had side effects with the first apparently........ glad about that cos I was knocked off my feet for 24 hours as wellJust wait till you have the second jab,Ive heard some really bad cases. Just think of that when the needle penetrates your skin for the second time.
Had our second jabs last Saturday - fewer side effects than from the first jab.Just wait till you have the second jab,Ive heard some really bad cases. Just think of that when the needle penetrates your skin for the second time.
Well that’s very good news about the second jab as I didn’t react well to the first. The second jab doesn’t affect you if you had side effects with the first apparently........ glad about that cos I was knocked off my feet for 24 hours as well
Must admit that I'm rather thin so you might be right tnProbably hit a bone
I thought you liked it hard Dave.Had both jabs and MrsDP has had the 1st.
No problems at all for both.
The worst part for me was the needle on the 2nd jab.
The lady who did the jab pushed it and said 'Oh that's hard'. And then gave it a real push.
It hurt a bit.
Or maybe I'm going soft in my old age?
Yes. Surely Nazzer knows that... as having the vaccine jab helps to reduce transmission, not to have it because you can't be bothered/believe it won't affect you is selfish and potentially very dangerous to others. If he/she was a friend/colleague/acquaintance of mine I'd be unimpressed. There's been fit people struck down !

You can travel 45 miles and not actually be further than ten miles away from home lads. That is what I was thinking. Police will been your case.

EBNS, I wonder how many on here got the reason for your Post?I thought you liked it hard Dave.
It's a shame she didn't smack your arse as well but you can't have everything!
Yep. I was in at 9 and out 5 minutes later. Just took a couple of paracetamol just in case.Just had the AZ jab at stonyhill this morning, the way they sort out the people is fantastic and the people queuing up were all 2m apart. My arm is aching a bit but at the moment I’m fine
I'd guess a lot of posters on here given that you mention it almost every week! It's almost like you enjoyed it!EBNS, I wonder how many on here got the reason for your Post?
Must admit, I didn't feel the needle when that happened.
Haven't they "unblinded" you?Im on novavax trial so had jab in oct and had no symptoms at all, week Monday having jab again and then 2nd 3 wks later. So if I had placebo in oct will see how i go week Monday....
My neighbour who is 76, 6 stone wet through had oxford jab with no symptoms at all, and Inlaws were also same.
Is that Goal Machine?
They don't do that anymore if you remain on the trial - for the integrity of the results.Haven't they "unblinded" you?
If you had a few beers on Saturday mate - the Sunday was a hangoverHad mine Sat at 11am
Hit me Sunday am and I was wiped out until about 8pm when I suddenly came around
Would have struggled to work
Yes I was and that's why I got unblinded. They don't do that anymore if you remain on the trial - for the integrity of the results.
(Initially, when the NHS jabs were starting that was the plan - think you were offered your NHS one a while back Insider iirc?)
No as just staying with it. Happy to have novavax and within 5 wks will be vaccinated if wasn't last yearHaven't they "unblinded" you?
