Yes and the open door we had from brexit led to many issues. The people who came on boats is just plain wrong. They shouldn't be allowed to stay if they come illegally.

Brexit hasn't made immigration higher the people running the country haven't been able to stop it.

All brexit is, is a transfer of powers. We have the power and responsibility to stop immigration, the fact they haven't isn't the fault of having the power now.

Thats like saying you have no control who comes in your house so you vote to take back control. You can now control who comes in but you let more people in than before.

Then blame the fact that you now have total control of who comes in. It would be utter madness.

You've already been proven wrong about what he said about Romanian men moving in next door not all Romanians. Infact that article again repeats the same lie.

Doesn't seem to happen if it's a figure on the left does it, yet a figure on the right and all the lefties come to a random thread they don't care about to dig up articles.

It would be libel if it was anything because it is printed - Nigel is free to sue if he feels that the law has been broken. I just linked an article from a mainstream, centralist newspaper from a few days ago (it's current so not digging up things) that shows things that he has said in the past.
The article shows that he is not some cuddly bloke down the pub who is a good laugh - he is a sinister character with dodgy connections to Russia.

The dodgy connections to Russia have never been proven, despite thousands of desperate people digging. It's nonesense.

Watched this with my daughter and missus tonight.

It's all a bit serious. There are no funny people in it at all. Always benefits with a comedian or someone funny in it.

The closest we have is the young lad that is hamming up his excitement and that's about it. We have the uneducated mouthpiece Nella, Farage who is looking like an angry grandparent and the rest of them are just beige and bland.

Frankie is a riot but I feel he'll die a death in there without any banter. And the I've never been able to abide Bellew. He's a miserable Scouser with a chip on his shoulder.

For me they've got the people all wrong this year.
 

Farage changing some opinion? Obviously he's unlikely to change someone hardened on the left, but those who don't follow things too closely, might only have read some ott things and thought he was the devil...
 
I tend to watch it on catch up each morning before work when the dog gets me up at 7 🫤

Am enjoying it. No one person I want to win, but lots of them I wouldn’t mind if they did won 👍

Well I’m sorry you think that but it doesn’t surprise me one bit as these days people are called racist for wanting to stop the rubber boats arriving or indeed supporting the Governments deportation plans just plain madness it really is therefore we must have millions of racists in this country who don’t know they are.

Going back on topic you could live next door to someone for the next 20/30/40 years or more that’s over half your life so it’s important to me who your neighbours are and you should have the choice without any political bias of any sort who that is it really is that simple.

Many on here would say exactly the same thing but hardly any would actually admit it so we must have more racists than you think around us.

There are loads of racists in the UK, it doesn't make them evil, it doesn't mean they will commit violent acts, it's usually kept under wraps and hidden to an extent, but it's there.
So I do give you credit for openly admitting you are a racist, maybe it's like alcoholics and it'll be the first step towards you becoming an open minded person!
As a side issue I have some customers that are Romanians, they are really nice people, over and beyond the politeness shown by most people. There are also some real scrotes that live in St Annes that I would happily put in a rubber dinghy and send to Rwanda and they're 100% British!

For the record I’ve nothing at all against Romanians it was the choice of words by Nigel Farage in his comments that someone put up on here.
I don’t know any and don’t think I’ve ever met any so certainly no grudge against any of them.
But I pick and choose who I live next door to and rightly or wrongly there’s people/religions I just wouldn’t move next to so if it makes me a racist then so be it I can live with that but I still think it’s a wrong choice of wording just for choosing who your neighbour actually is and what your preferences are.

Fair enough but you did write that you also wouldn't want to live next door to Romanians without giving a specific reason for this other than them being Romanians, so just to remove any doubt that is racist.

I listed a few other people as well if you look again not just Romanians but I stand by what I said and in my views I’m not being racist for saying it but it’s clear other people have different views over it so we’re going have to leave it there I’m afraid. 👍

If I ever meet up with you one day I’ll be more than happy to tell you but on here is simply not the place as with most other threads on this subject it’ll just end up being a slagging match full of vitriol and hate and the mods will simply delete it.

That's fair enough, too many people go to extreme positions on here when most of the answers are more complicated and somewhere in the middle👍

Is Grace the most miserable looking contestant ever to appear in the show…….i certainly can’t bring anyone lose to mind.

Cant see here doing well in the trial but should be a good one with Josie in it as well.

I think it’s a very good point raised by the Bloodster about what the dictionary says abut the word racist or racism.

Unfortunately I don’t have an old Oxford dictionary to hand these days but I’m guessing the term racist/racism is covered by a one or two or maybe a 3 line answer?

I’m guessing what isn’t in there is calling anyone a racist who wants to stop the rubber boats, illegal immigration, or indeed someone who has a preference for his neighbours?

I’ll stand corrected and apologise though if someone proves me wrong at least it’ll put an end to all this crap about who is and who isn’t a racist or what actually is racism.

But then again in the world we live in today people know better than the Oxford dictionary so I won’t hold my breath.

Be interesting if someone could confirm if the word ‘Woke’ is in the current dictionary edition and is it an actual word or is it another one recently made up?
