Interesting, cos that shirt looks like it has a red trim.
If you have ever seen a Charles Buchan football annual from the 1950’s you will see lots of photos of players that have been colourised by graphic artists. Quite often the colour does not look natural. Even today on a standard definition tv sometimes tangerine shirts can appear reddish in colour.

Yes thanks. I well recall my uncle's football annuals from the fifties - I now rummage through remaindered bookshops for them. I know exactly what you mean and should have thought it through here.

i met Gazza that night in the No.3 , we chatted for 5 minutes or so and he asked me where the gents was so i took him , my best man included the line " he's experienced Gazza's tackle " into his speech 😀
Was he not in there with Paul Stewart and Andy Hinchcliff that night?

The fact that the Anniversary kit and pin badge were for sale dates these pictures to 1987. Mrs C threw my beautiful pin badge out "by mistake" a few years ago. I had to buy another on ebay.

Yep ‘87 is right. Poor from Mrs Coinslot!? Mrs F did something similar with Walshy’s tie ups that I managed to take off him!! 😡

Think I've got most of the things on sale there, including the book being displayed. Wasn't it written by a teacher at Baines.

I think I have still got my copy of that book, will have to have a search round and see if I can find it 😁
Sadly I gave my Blackpool FC centenary shirt away to some sports bar abroad on a lads holiday. It was the blue away colours with embroidered club crest and centenary dates on the front 😩
