I'm finding Dembele sprinting over to Hamilton every time he gets the ball quite amusing... has he been assigned a task by any chance?
 
Husband nailed on for a second yellow unless he gets settled.

Playing some good stuff. Need to contain Dembele and could do with that second goal, but lots to be positive about. Nice to see us with a bit of confidence about us on the ball!
 
Yeah, Ward is just a fresh air player. Fine when we're in their half and he's just recycling the ball and moving along sideways or short, but there's just not enough of anything else.
 
Brilliant half so far. The best we have played by a country mile so far this season. Dembele for them looks a very good prospect indeed!
 
According to Chizzy, Maxine has a wrist strapped up. At least he shouldn’t get him confused with Hamilton for the rest of the game?

Don’t think Husband has had the best half. Turton keeps giving the ball away but has made some good clearances. Dougall needs to calm down. But how are this lot top of the league? Haven’t looked great at all. If we win this it’ll send a statement to the rest of the league

Half time is for trying to put a couple of things right (like telling Ward to play himself into the game more and telling the team to settle down a bit), not making two changes when you're on top and 1-0 up. Leaving yourself with one sub left with 45 to go is bananas IMO (unless you're getting battered and need a drastic change).
 
Best we've played this season. I just hope Critchley uses some subs in the second half to freshen things up instead of leaving it to the 80th min.
 
We were slightly the better side that half, Posh are top and unbeaten at home in 2020 I believe. Good signs, especially with such a strong bench. Finsihing still isn't great, missed some good chances there. Yates made up for a bad miss earlier.

I'm not so sure about the substitution thing. Do substitutions strengthen the team> Can disrupt things too. Husband maybe needs to come off, we don't need him getting sent off again. Dougall just needs to be careful. We need him on the pitch, he is a really big influence. Best player on the pitch, possibly.

The problem Dougall has is the lack of a player next to him. When he presses he’s almost doing it on his own.

We've got 5 subs now! We would therefore have three left
 
Wow that was an impressive first half display.
Controlled the game well and nullified then completely.

Can we keep that up for another 45 minutes as they’re getting through a lot of work.
Dougall looks like a certainty for a red card too. It was never a yellow though in the first place.

This is the acid test though. Can we do it for 90 minutes. You'd imagine they are gonna come at us much stronger second half..Big decisions for Critchley to make to.
 
Excellent half that. Very composed. Gretarsson playing well. Make them work hard for their goals though. Nothing soft at the back. I think we'll need a second but we seem to get numbers up front quick so might get it.
