PNE Player You Hated The Most

Gregan for me.

Hated that lad, but I don't mind admitting he was a decent player and affective.

I wouldn't hearing some of the older heads thoughts.
Gregan is definitely up there. In recent times I hate Johnson as he’s a dirty shite.

To be honest anyone that plays in that shirt is a scumbag 😂

Michael Appleton. 😆 Not really.

Mel Holden. Lads at school went on about how great he was but he was obviously shit and he later demonstrated just how shit in his very brief spell with us. Cringe player.

For some reason I watched their playoff final against Bolton around 2001 recently and let me just say my most hated player is definitely NOT Mark Rankine, absolutely hilarious performance from the lad and single handedly prevented them from gracing the PL, good on him.

I'm going to pull you up on this one.

He joined Blackpool in 1978, retired in 1979 due to illness and died in 1981 aged 26 from Motor Neurone Disease.
Wow my memory totally failed me there. Thats really tragic. Thanks for pulling me up. I only remember how i felt at the time when he played for them and then signed for us.

Very harsh
While playing for us was obviously struggling with early effects of motor neurone disease

yep, Gregan. The way he seemed to strut around the pitch. But he was a bloody good player. McKenna very similar too.

Simple ...... David Moyes
Never liked him as a player or a manager.
Totally overrated as a manager, although if he wins the Euro conference cup that will be some form of achievement. Always found him a bit miserable, and the fact that post Preston he has managed; Everton, Man U and West Ham doesn't help.

Potts, Gregan and Macken. Gary Peters as manager.
Eyres was like Brett, disappointing but impossible to dislike.

Beat me to it and a very poor post by him to remember him so well but not know why he was poor for us.

Gregan.

Inconceivable you could look further.

Used to hate Tony Ellis, but only because he was so good that I was fearful everytime he took the pitch.

Mellor for sure, no shout for Lawro which is a supprise. He’s more of a nobber than a Liverpool player and always has somthing bad to say about us. Was always a snide comment when we where in the prem.

Gregan for reasons stated.

More recent and he was only on loan but i hated that Archer as well.

Lonergan purely because I worked for him and he was a miserable **, his wife was lovely and very friendly, Potts, archer although that ended well!
Hated that Brett bloke, can’t remember his last name but he did fuck all while he was with us
