By Blackpool fans yesterday. I didn’t hear any, did any of you guys?
Serious if true.
Serious if true.
Who apparently did….but I have to say I didn’t see it for myself and no I wouldn’t be looking unless of course it was an attractive lady,in which case I might have risked one eye and a very quick glimpse….the football was exciting enough not to risk too muchFirst time I have heard the “get your t@@s out for the lads” for a long time yesterday ….. but I believe it was targeted at a bloke in the south
Architectural consideration in a social context mi Lord.Think it may be something to do with the ‘rather have a tower than a mosque’ chant in the north a few times
The SLO will side with the police and encourage investigation into Blackpool fans while staying quiet as a mouse about Preston as not to poke the Police.I reported their chant last year, I'm tempted to escalate it this year - on Wednesday evening we had rainbow corner flags; our club should do something about it. It's misogynistic and homophobic both of which for in the face of everything we are told football is about - one for the @SLO_BFC
Anyway TSSJr1 was saying that one of their players was getting called "pikie" on a regular basis - that would fall under racist abuse as the law currently stands.
Only here for the Gay bars?As it says they are going to investigate homophobic chanting by Blackpool fans it may be helpful to point them in the direction of Big Fat Boo's offering. They should be able to identify one offender very easily.
Yeah it seems that way.It diverts everyone’s attention away from their incompetence after the match… maybe thats the plan
I agree it’s cringe but over the top reaction.I hate the Tower/mosque chant - we are better than than
But a police matter? Get a grip
Pool fans were singing it openly outside the Armfield club pre match with many old bill in attendance and no one in uniform seemed bothered about it then.I hate the Tower/mosque chant - we are better than than

Well, they'll be arresting plenty of Nobbers over the next couple of months; Big Fat Boo man had posted his homophobic chanting online FFS.In a statement, Lancashire Police said: "We have been made aware of possible racist and/or homophobic chanting during the football match between Blackpool and Preston North End yesterday (Saturday, October 22nd).
"We will be meeting with representatives from the football club in the coming days and this will include reviewing CCTV.
"If anything of this nature comes to light a full investigation will be launched and we will seek to identify and locate those responsible.
"Hate speech is not welcome in Lancashire and we take all reports of this nature very seriously.
"Anybody found to be responsible will be dealt with robustly and proportionately."
The chanting was said to be directed at rival Preston North End fans rather than any players."
What a load of bollocks, one of their main chants is homophobic, plus another one.
Didn't hear anything from us.
'druggies and gay people...?' Really are you categorizing them together? All I heard that was possibly offensive was their crack whore , dad's a queen chant, can't say it offended me as most of the druggies and gay people I have encountered in Blackpool come from Preston, Blackburn or Burnley originally.
Why, has he been reported? They all sing it.Well, they'll be arresting plenty of Nobbers over the next couple of months; Big Fat Boo man had posted his homophobic chanting online FFS.
Easiest arrest they will ever make.
I could have sworn I heard exactly the same … well pointed out DSOtLMost in the North have changed the words to I’d rather have a shower than a wash
How do we now it was a blokeFirst time I have heard the “get your t@@s out for the lads” for a long time yesterday ….. but I believe it was targeted at a bloke in the south

This from pne online, someone rekons they heard this.
Finney in a box was heard for a second, there was no other chant.
Infact to hear it loud and clear is bollox as we would have heard it and on ifollow the only chants you hear loud and clear are away chants, as the microphone is in the east.
Sound a awful lot like their town full of faggots or smackheads chant they were singing, so most likely heard themselves.
You might not be as popular afterwards...How do we now it was a bloke
One for my email to Stonewall
You have no idea! Laughable comment. The SLO will side with the police and encourage investigation into Blackpool fans while staying quiet as a mouse about Preston as not to poke the Police.
