What pre-match superstitions do you have?

I like to wear my ‘lucky’ orange pants that have green Turtles on during a match.
How else can you explain Turton’s great form this season?
 
I always told my misses that if she gave me a BJ on the morning of the game,that we would win. Can't understand why she wouldn't listen to common sense. 🙁
 
It’s weird because I’m really not superstitious in normal life at all but when it comes to football I am whether it’s taking the same route to the ground or what breakfast I have. Been eating porridge every Saturday morning since we’ve hit form and I darent have something else incase we lose, been dying for a bacon sandwich Saturday mornings 😂

Ha that’s true LT! Funny enough I can’t touch any official merchandise even by accident on non match days, I have to organise my wardrobe so its all safely stuck at one end, but mishaps happen and things have a habit of reorganising themselves when my back is turned. So as one of my socks slinks off to another universe, so the wardrobe elves start to play at “just put that here and put that there”

That's a good few bacon sarneys you've missed. Probably saved your life as well as our season!!
 
Always wear the number 7 shirt when playing football

Started as when I wore it I scored, when I didn't wear it I didn't score
 
Superstitious or bigoted loyalty? at home games I never wear a colour that is part of the home kit of the team we are playing. And if I can - avoid their away colours as well!

Only one season played in Tangerine (sadly not for Blackpool though), in the Sunday Leagues

Last time I ever played was at the Cods Ground of Highbury funnily enough and missed a genuine open goal on the volley. I'll never play another match to be able to put that miss behind me now 🤣
 
Because we're not at games, it's the first season in many, many years I don't have a superstition - I used to drive in certain ways, always go through one turnstile, have the same snack before a game - got quite ridiculous - so this freedom is rather nice and also proves how utterly absurd superstitions actually are.

For reference,Tuesday was the first time in ages I'd not worn my lucky pants because they were inn the wash (you can't get the staff!).. freshly laundered, they are now firmly on!
 
I just bought a singular Tangerine IPA alongside my beers for today for good luck.

Hopefully works out, don't come for me if we lose!
 
We have a dodgy stick for Sky Sports but have actually paid for the last two games on iFollow rather than watch 3 mins behind on the stick - will be going back to the stick on Tuesday for purely superstitious and not financial reasons!!

That didn't work out then.

I noticed as I cracked it open it was described as "PLUNGED ORANGE". I knew the symbolism wouldn't bode well!
 
Don't want to get anyone too excited but at both the 2007 and 2010 promotion seasons, we had two foxes in our garden and in 2007 they were Morrell and Parker and in 2010 they were DJ and Charlie .. not had a fox in the garden since .. until now .. we once again have two foxes in the garden .. am thinking Jerry and Maxwell .. maybe an omen?
 
Wear the same shirt if we win. Hope to wear this seasons away kit 3 more times this season

I have a tangerine jacket signed by the McMahon promotion winning squad, always wear it at times of needing a win and it never lets me down.
