Always liked paul tisdale at Exeter ,they played some decent stuff . He’s available too
You say it’s too far north but for any manager out there then this job has got to be an attractive one. The right man would be backed by the board and backed by the fans and that is surely what any manager wants.Too far North for Tisdale...he'd get a nose bleed.
Don't see why Chris Hughton is beyond us, not currently employed is he? Did a fantastic job at Newcastle and Brighton and maybe would fancy rebuilding a club.Bruno Labbadia would be excellent and nearly took WBA job...Chris Hughton...both probably beyond us...Wellens and Evatt best of past players as managers but maybe a bit risky...Thommo would be a good and popular choice...Id also be happy with Nathan Jones...I think they will have someone in mind already and I just hope its not Paul Heckingbottom personally
I did see he was looking at coming back to England, do you not think we are too big for him?Poch

Evatt has to be a strong contender. Four points clear with a game in hand, goal difference 29, two divisions below us in his second season as a manager. That's a really impressive start, he's obviously cut out for it, I'd say.
As a player he maximised his own potential, he was very driven and focused.
Highly rated? Potted whilst top of the Indian Super League ffs. WTF is the ISL? Pub league just behind the Scottish Premiership. We have been linked with highly rated Spanish coach Sergio Lobera for the last 2 weeks.
They really didn'tCharlie Adam player manager - well someone had to post it!
I refuse to believe anyone working in the Indian Super League is highly rated other than in India.....Highly rated? Potted whilst top of the Indian Super League ffs. WTF is the ISL? Pub league just behind the Scottish Premiership.
You're a Joey for suggesting him.Joey
Highly rated is not my opinion, it was on the website. He was ‘potted ‘ over a difference of opinion re. the direction of the club, not results.Highly rated? Potted whilst top of the Indian Super League ffs. WTF is the ISL? Pub league just behind the Scottish Premiership.
Not a bad shout and a guy who got a raw deal at Stoke. Took Luton to promotion and they play in tangerineAfter doing some research , I have come to the conclusion that Nathan Jones is the man for the job !
The ISL is more the pointHighly rated is not my opinion, it was on the website. He was ‘potted ‘ over a difference of opinion re. the direction of the club, not results.
Must admit KP was a name that sprung to mind. He's probably ready for try at management now. To be honest he could still be a player manager.Very off the wall but how about Kevin Phillips as interim with the promise of assistant manager at least next season.
At least our attackers might learn something from him
He's 46!To be honest he could still be a player manager.
SS won’t want to get his next appointment wrong and don’t forget this is a new business venture for him. I think it will be somebody who comes with a good CV and been round the block a few times, and yes l know SG has a record at this level but has been potted in recent times on a number of occasions. Evatt is maybe one for the future but not now.
At the moment I'm just glad to hear we haven't rushed in to appointing Hickinbottom....
Nathan Jones seems like a good option if we can get him. Always a gamble to some extent. Be easy to make a song for him though
I’ve heard Heck, Evo and Jones are serious contenders.
Paul Hurst is scheduled for an interview
Asked to speak to Lowe
Amongst 4 others on the shortlist I saw tonight Steve Evans
Paul Hurst? Another who's failed recently.I’ve heard Heck, Evo and Jones are serious contenders.
