However, respect to Scotland they have definitely got it together under Steve Clarke and will give England a great contest.

I hope there are lots of goals and an England win🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 but no result would surprise me tonight.

The Jocks will create a good atmosphere and hopefully the players will be up for it. I don't do many friendlies but I'll watch tonight.

It was one of my favourite tournaments. The games I liked most were Scotland v England and Scotland v N. Ireland. Pat Jennings was my favourite goalie and George Best was playing. Talking of whom, it was a goal when he took the ball away from Banks in the England game.

big memory of mine is wales 3 scotland 5 with both ron and wyn davies playing for wales. think ron scored two towering headers. toshack up front for wales to so in effect 3 big centre forwards. sorry caps lock not working so can't put capitals til i reboot.

England and Scotland both had very good teams at that time. But then, the first division in England was full of English and Scottish footballers and Rangers/Celtic were on a par.

Also looked up the teams and the only Welsh players that I recognise today are the two Davies's, Toshack, Gary Sprake and Alan Durban.

Gordon Banks was a childhood hero of mine since he switched on Blackpool illuminations and i shook his hand.I was v close to becoming a stoke fan because of him but my dad recognised that and started taking me to blackpool games and the rest is history haha.

what about Frank HAFFEY let in eight goals at WEMBLEY in 1961. ENGLAND won 9.3 Things got so bad he emigrated to Australia. he is still alive at the tender age of 84,.

i know it was disrespectful but it seemed they didn't like English fans booing the minutes silence. What did they expect after they'd just booed our anthem!
 
Why don’t we just allow the Scottish and the Welsh independence if they hate England so much?

Oh, and they can leave the Premier League and EFL for us too.
