Season tickets on sale tomorrow

A lot of uncertainty around when we will be allowed back into the stadium. Not the clubs fault obviously but for some people they may not want to commit to an STH until they know how many games they are getting.

Would it be be better to POTG this season, as we dont know when we can return yet?🤨
Or will the club only allow ST holders in this season?

Last season, the club did their own 6 month finance for people who may struggle with a credit check, doesn't look like they're doing it this time.

I’m stuck as of what to do. 4 season tickets normally here. But if we don’t get in no refunds and also I’d paying for a game for 4 of us yet and if we have to watch on I follow it’s only a tenner as opposed to almost £80 on 4 tickets
We have two season tickets in M block and 2 in the North
Think I’m going to hold fire for a while till we hear next info from Boris

The ifollow offer doesn't float my boat for me two of us with ST and we get to view the game that is basically a tenner(my lad can get for free).
For me to purchase if a game is behind closed doors sorry but I want my money back.

Im also a little confused with this statement as I only remember seeing three options listed. 1.Leave your money with the club 2.Get a refund or 3.Club gives the refund to NHS charity. They said if you are happy for the money to remain with the club then you dont need to do anything which is what I did.

I dont recall seeing anything about my lost ticket money coming off a future ticket and I havent opted into anything like this. Would the discount be automatically linked to my account?

If you didn’t ask for a refund before 30th June the money for lost games on last season ticket stayed with the club
Seems there’s no discount for fans that left money with the club

"Season ticket holders that opted for the value of the cancelled games from the 19/20 season to be reduced from the price of their 20/21 season ticket will see the amended price during the online renewal process."

"In the event that the 20/21 season does not start or is curtailed, then the Club reserves its rights but supporters are reminded of the refund options that the Club provided for the 19/20 season, namely leaving the money with the Club, a partial refund, using the refund against a ticket for 20/21 and for ticketing initiatives for key workers and local groups."

Anyone remember seeing this option listed?

Oh well they must be taking it off the price of a season ticket if people opted for that
I think you had to opt in by 30th June though

It was definitely one of the options.

I’m surprised the club isn’t offering an 17-21 year old season ticket as last year they did, quite a steep £170 difference from an u18s ticket compared with the adult price.

Yes, it was option 4.

Had the owner not been pouring shedloads of money in for months now, you might have had more chance of this. But unfortunately, he has.

Can anyone clarify what "reserves it's rights" means in this context? Is it saying, "well, this is what we did last season. But we may not necessarily do that again in this new season"?

That’s exactly how I read it!

Worth noting this, too:

There will be no refund to a season ticket holder in the event a fixture must be played behind closed doors or due to a reduced capacity stadium so long as the fixture has been made available via a streaming service

Purchased 3 season tickets last season in Block Q.....this was classed as part of the family stand.....now only blocks R and S classed as family stand

Unfortunately, until the Gov issue guidance on the return of spectators to live sporting event, the club don't know how many fans can attend and where in the stadium they can be accommodated.

I'd like to continue to support the club financially, but I'd also like to be able to attend the games and sit in the seat that I've paid for. Through no fault of their own, the club can't guarantee this. So I'm afraid I'll be waiting to see how thing unfold.

We might all be watching on i-follow for some time!

Content to take the ifollow access until we are given the green light to attend. Just want to get the cash to the club really and show some support.

If I am being critical though, this could have been announced weeks ago so people who are strapped didn’t buy the training tops and shirt and then find they only have two weeks to find the early bird cash.

I think ST sales will definitely be down this year. It's a lot of money for families with no guarantee of being in the ground for perhaps the first half of the season. The ifollow stuff is fine but only one person needs to activate it.

Just to give everyone an Idea of the price difference from last season, it appears that this years full price for everything but block M is equal to last seasons early bird price, but the family stand is significantly cheaper.

Not happy about the iFollow, like many others we have multiple tickets, I feel there should be some kind of discount for multiple tickets in the same household. On the other hand, if Simon Sadler is still putting money into the club I'll have pangs of guilt if I don't renew. 😁 But that's a personal choice, others may feel differently, and it will be a difficult choice especially if they have a family and had employment difficulties. Fortunately I am retired so that kind of thing has not affected me, though it has my son, but he's single and still living at home.

I’m pretty certain after choosing to receive a credit I received an e-mail saying I would be contacted directly to renew once they went on sale? Is this still going to happen?

It also doesn’t clarify ( i guess they don’t know themselves yet) if they have to move you will they move all of you in your group. I guess not, as how do they know who is in your group unless you are from the same household.

After being delighted to buy a ST again last season knowing I would miss a few games through holidays and other “intrusive” events! and then watching the world fall apart and missing those last few home games, I was happy to leave any refund with the club.

Just too much uncertainty around now, a local lockdown in Blackpool could scupper the best laid plans and a wider “Nuclear Option” tittle-tattled in the Press at the weekend would finish a season off!

I think I’ll be looking to POTG myself should the situation improve - plus if I’m not there to put the mockers on it then BFC should have a very good season!!!

Edit to add that for some reason these days I can’t be doing with watching football on the telly and couldn’t tell you when I last sat and watched a full game on the TV at home, so ifollow scheme not a seller to me personally.

That's true, especially as they said they were hanging fire until things were being made more clear.

Maybe season tickets would be made more attractive to those who are undecided because of the limitations if iFollow vouchers included away fixtures, especially to those who purchase multiple tickets.

It’s a tricky one for many I’m sure with much head scratching going on! Personally l would be very surprised if we saw any live football this coming season if you listen to all the so called experts, scientists, ministers and with the press having a field day with all the negativity printed in the papers. So I'll be renewing mine and put some much needed money into the club and if l have to watch it on iFollow then so be it. The biggest issue I’ve got is telling Frau Bayern she has to pay for hers with all this uncertainty around! What?🤔
