Sheffield United v Blackpool Official Matchday Thread 15.10.22

That will be Lavery out for violent conduct. No way the EFL will rescind it. Bent ref, no doubt.

Wow, strangest game I've ever seen. Can't really complain about the red cards, ridiculous from Thompson, but after Thompson's kicked the ball their player also on a yellow ran up to him and shoved him and got nothing! Connelly has literally karate chopped the ball as it was heading for the goal.

The pen he did give them was absurd, and it did seem like as soon as we went 3-2 up he gave us absolutely nothing, with Lavery especially getting flattened over and over. I need a lie down.

I feel sick after that. What a ** scumbag that referee is. After a good first half as well. Someone's clearly been in his ear at half time and said you need to swing this to SU...

** HELL.

Howard fouls they committed should have been reds??? How many fould did he ** miss that they committed???

THEIR PEN WASNT EVEN A FOUL OR ANYEHERE NEAR.

8 MINUTES ADDED ON???

Need to calm down...

I am shaking with rage over that, never felt this way after a game. So many shit decisions went against us, the officials did literally everything to make sure we didn't win that game.

Now we will get charged for that on pitch aggro, the referee is a nonce.

Shambolic refereeing, absolutely clueless, totally lost the control and did everything in his power to get Sheff Utd a point....other than not giving the clear handball against Connolly towards the end.

as soon as i saw that webb was the ref i had doubts, hes shit but his performance today needs investigating. from the first minute when he let two sheffield challenges go and then pulled up a pool player for mothng,

We are already behind on budget and resource. We train hard all week only for it to be made impossible to win by 1 ** of a man with a whistle.

Not only will nothing be done about it but no doubt we will be fined thousands and Appleton given a touchline ban.
