Not exactly steaming into the derby are we.... more limping.

Although I'd say 2 defeats and a failed takeover is probably worse for fan morale than a one off loss.

But lets face it past results go out the window.

If we make basic mistakes like today I'd say we'll be in trouble, but sounds like your not exactly playing scintillating stuff also and we do still make chances....

Going to be a lot of pressure on you with that bumper crowd in a one off playoff for 3 points 😉

Not that much pressure really. 6/7k of that home crowd are Liverpool/City fans who will just turn up, sit quietly and then roll off into the gloomy Preston night before checking how their first teams got on in the champions league.

We know PNE haven't performed when the pressure is on from a meaningful game, bigger crowd etc or certainly most playoff games.

They aren't renowned for their bottle.

Am hoping they fail under the weight of it all again.

This was Lowe’s suggestion after Luton.
Most fans think it’s a ** stupid idea and a dangerous precedent.
If they’d done that every time they were dogshit in the 80s then in some seasons the players would never have been paid.

Fact is, they'll be lumbered with the underperforming high earners and shipping out the rest whose contracts are up.
Can't see them wanting to spend a fortune rebuilding (Hemmings Jnr obviously looking to sell, can't see him pumping millions more down the khazi) so I merrily foresee a long hard season or 3 ahead of them!!
