Can we have some more atmosphere on Saturday. I know it’s only a friendly but we need to take a victory as if it is a league match.

At least we can warm up the Appleton’s Tangerine Army chant!
 
I predict we’ll play in skins and we’ll have three lads from the Trialist family back in the fold
 
Does anyone know if it'll be available to watch anywhere for those unable to go?

I seem to recall the club stream a pre season game or two free last season (of the season before) on YouTube?
 
I hope to see some goals, last time we had a thinner squad and less time playing together, now there's more and they all know each other very well.

There's also a lot more quality in now than last summer at this same stage.

I know its not a measure in a friendly but I want to see more than the 2 goals, plus this attacking philosophy Appleton said he'd play which apparently they will play and the players are happy about it and excited.

Can't wait to see tommorow, notice any changes to setup and style philosophy etc.
 
Bit weird to have literally no new players to look at today but hey ho. Be interesting to see if Grant Ward gets a game or not. Also hope to see a few of the kids who have been hovering on fringes of squads that Critch never really promoted.

yep, true. Remember last season we had new signings Lavery and Reece James playing. As well as perhaps one or two others. Lavery scored in a 2-0 win.

Bowler, Grimmy and Connelly played last year too. Carey came on as well.

I don't have a ridiculous memory, I just looked it up cos I'm bored. 🤣
 
Looking forward to watching the players having a run out. Hopefully players returning from injury and no new injuries.
Also Appy scowling from sidelines. Glad the club are providing the stream again.

No Husband, Gabriel or Stewart, we knew Husband and Grimshaw are coming back from ops/imjury and will be fit for the start of the season, but if Stewart is injured again, then even I have to say we need to offload him.
