Still loads of tickets available for Middlesbough

Yes , loads left , I realise it's the Carabao cup , but it's the first chance for many to watch a home competitive match for nearly a year and a half .

Am sure more will shift after Sat but the priority is the Cardiff game. Good chance to play the squad, get then all firing and earn see of we can progress.

A lot of people will still be apprehensive about going to large sporting events whilst coronavirus
is still in evidence in the UK
Is this really true? I certainly wouldn’t blame people if they were, it’s okay to be apprehensive, but the majority of people I have spoken to can’t wait to get back in the ground considering it’s been so long. Especially if double jabbed?

Really?
People are not going cos they can't be arsed and no issues with that it's not compulsory to attend games.

Next Saturday will be our highest attended game at BR(not including home coming) for what 5/6 years?
Since the Homecoming, 2 years ago.

Had they have played it last Saturday they’d have got loads more Boro and Pool fans in!
Agree. The EFL should move the first two rounds to be final pre-season prep with no limit on subs and have it at weekends. It's a six month competition to see who's going to be cannon fodder for Man City in the final so it's largely a football irrelevance that gets in the way apart from sponsorship money.

In isolation what you say might be true but I imagine when we compare the attendances of the Cardiff and Middlesbrough games, the difference will have nothing to do with the virus.

My best mate in France is a Boro fan. He said he'd come over when we played them
No chance now,10 days quarantine before the game I should think. 🙄

Me and TinyTractor won't be going (probably) - we'd want to sit in our season ticket seats for a start. Makes a big difference for a lot of people who attend matches not only for the football, but socially. People have routines, rituals. Your own seat, your friends etc is one of them. I know it's not the case for away games, but that's why away games have a different feeling than home games.

Will get mine online as I’m working 8-8 for the next nine days😩😩😩gunna get away for 7 for the boro game of course

Are you genuinely saying that your reason for not attending a match is that you might have to move seats ????? Christ on a bike

Well me and TSSJr3 are going.

TSSJr1 is working.

£20 for the two of is great value, even with travel and food etc makes it well worth it - even for the energy drink cup.

He can't wait.

Wonder if yesterday's late equaliser will inspire a few more to go on. Wider picture Cardiff have an easy game against Sutton at home on Tuesday and so will have 24 hours longer to recover and will probably have fielded a much weaker side.

This stage of season minutes in the teams legs important

It would be 3 home games in a 6 (7)day period and that mean 3 journeys (and 2 night games) over which is too much( and the wife would be less than impressed as well😳)...Saturday and the following Tuesday are more important as well with them being league games.Of course I would want us to win but for me it is a game to rotate some of the squad to give them match time.

Pick my two up tomorrow when collecting ST being on a Wednesday is a nightmare as usually working much prefer Tuesday's the joys of being in the Championship and games getting moved. 😂

Got mine. Will be my girlfriends first time at Bloomers too. She works Saturdays so won’t get to many but she’s even brought a shirt for the occasion. Extra few £££ the club wouldn’t usually get. 👍
We’ve got our Cardiff tickets, so following on from the Carlisle friendly being my kids first time of seeing the Pool, Saturday is their debut as ‘Home’ supporters.
A little detour to the club shop ain’t going a miss either 😁

I hope the little ones rinse you for every last penny in that club shop. 😜 It’s going to be a great day and one they won’t forget in a hurry.

I think a tenner would of been more reasonable. The club would of made more money with more fans tempted to go for just a tenner. £15 is at a price point where some fans will think "Nah I think I will give this one a miss"

Saturday is our 'post Covid homecoming' and our 4 year old grandson's first game.
He hasn't been told yet, as he'd ask every hour "am I going to watch the Seasiders tomorrow with grandma and grandad?". We just hope he doesn't get fed up part way through and want to go home to Warrington!
Our noisey supporters were fantastic (as usual) yesterday and watching Lee's video made us both quite emotional.

I presume its potg, as this is how most of our cup crowds purchase.

We should be back to normal now so no reason not to and will hinder our crowd if we can't.

With 3 games in 7 days I hope he doesn't risk any of the league starters.

Is there a rule on the numbers of changes -

Just been to ticket office to get tickets for boro game ,steady stream of people going in ,not much queing only about 5mins waiting, looking forward to it already
