Yeah think Stoke will walk all over us, I reckon we'll take 6-7 games to settle into the season properly.

Stoke manager said he's going to put out a team he thinks can win but with an eye on the league as well. So might not be a full strength squad. With that in mind, 2-1 stoke

We are very very tidy up front perhaps lacking in defence and after the Everton game have reason to believe we can get a result . BELIEVE

It entirely depends on what team NC wants to put out.
If it's our best XI we'll win, if it's similar to the team which played Blackburn, we won't.
2-1 or 1-2

Michael O’Neill has confirmed that captain Ryan Shawcross and striker Sam Vokes will play no part during Saturday’s Carabao Cup first round tie against Blackpool.
The former is working his way back to full fitness following groin surgery, while the latter is currently suffering with a calf issue which has hampered his involvement in pre-season to date.
The boss, meanwhile, will assess the current match sharpness of summer signings John Obi Mikel, Steven Fletcher and Morgan Fox before finalising his plans for the bet365 Stadium clash.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Thursday, the 51-year-old said: “Sam Vokes won’t be available to us. He’s got a calf problem. Joe Allen and Thibaud Verlinden are not back in training yet.
“The other thing we have to do is manage the players that we brought in, predominantly because they came in at different stages so need to be on a different schedule, built more towards September 12.
"Ryan Shawcross comes into that category as well after having groin surgery at the end of last season.”
He added: “We have to consider where the players are in terms of their fitness. If you look at John (Obi Mikel) for example, he’s not played since March because he terminated his contract at Trabzonspor.
“Steven (Fletcher) and Morgan (Fox) were still under contract at Sheffield Wednesday at that point in time. That means they are probably all in different places physically.
“John has settled in really well, trained really hard and we’ve just got to build up his fitness and his minutes.
"Morgan, we’ve been really pleased with, and Fletch coming in too. We can see their quality but we have to manage them fitness wise in terms of overall fitness, match fitness and getting minutes in their legs.”

I think we could come down to earth with a bump after some easy-ish pre season games.
Everton were/are obviously a strong team but were miles behind us fitness wise.

Stoke won't be a push over, 3-2 to them.

1-2 Pool
Think too many are thinking about the Blackburn non event.
No crowd is a leveller.
They're hardly prolific goal wise & if we keep defensive errors to the minimum we'll surprise them with high press & movement up top.

I hope so. They did beat Shrewsbury 5-1 in their latest friendly. For what it's worth.

Can get 9-2 on a victory.
No one knows how it will go but its not a bad price on the 1st 'competitive' game of the season virtually behind closed doors certainly if we decide to take it seriously & they dont.

Do we think after Tuesday we'll look to keep them quiet for 20 mins or try to do what we did against Everton and go for it?

Just worked out how to get I-follow in my telly! (I’m a bit of a tech numpty)
Match pass sorted, buzzing now.

Heart says 3-2 Blackpool 🥳
Head saying we might get tonked ☹️

Some good looking 1st Goalscorer bets, team news dependent of course! CJ at 18/1 in particular. Other decent prices previewed here:

9/2 is very generous for a game like this. Stokes players aren't all match fit and ready to start yet by the sound of it.
