Storm Debi

Looks like the Fylde Coast will bear the brunt of this one, the eye of the storm is heading directly at us tomorrow.

Batten down the hatches people. 😩

Average wind speed in Lytham is 34.4mph with a gust high of 50mph.

Winds decreasing in the last hour.

That was a 2pm

Dogs are waiting patiently 🐶
Just got back in from walking mine.

Just managed to avoid a big branch falling off a big tree which happened just in front of me.

Walked round the back garden and the red bin has gone over plastic bottles glass bottles dog food tins all over the feckin place. ☹️

Blowing a hooly (I think that's a phrase?) in St Annes. Neighbour's bins blown over onto my drive. Neighbour comes home, sees their bins spread across my drive, enters the house regardless then two minutes later goes back into their car and drives off!

Dickson road closed from Warley road to Gynn due to roof debris.

Had to cancel my trip to choice meats. 🙁
There was an elderly gentleman with reports of debris hitting him, but someone in the comments on FB said it wasn't and that he was swept off his feet.

Blown a freestanding 6 x 3 shed over here. Contents everywhere.

Once, as a kid I came in our back door and heard a crash as I closed the door, I opened it to see a slate had fallen where I was no longer than 2/3 seconds before.

Just driven back from Burnley to the Gold Coast. Conditions on the M65 particularly were atrocious , no way you could safely go over 55mph. Glad to be home safe and sound.

Ye, def a strong wind. Lifting my car up when I’m sat waiting for my granddaughter to get off the tram from school.

Tram has been stopped somewhere along the journey too 😳

I'm in tockholes, yes it's a bit breezy

The rock is my local. 4 minute walk

My blue bin blew over, the drive is littered with platic items, hopefully they will blow onto the road and I can stay safe indoors.

There was a poster called JJpool,
Over his posts some did drool,
But he took the piss out of me,
something I don't like to see,
So now I think he's a tool.

Not really ;)
There once was a poster called fountain,
Who thought he could climb up a mountain,
Misjudged it did he,
Was plain for all to see,
That this guy should have stuck to accounting,

The place I rent is on the prom opposite Bispham tram stop. I have a pleasant balcony which looks out to sea.

Or at least I did this morning.

I live a few streets back opposite fire station. Bispham is great, loads of good eating places, nice real ale bar

Were you in Hoddlesden when the Tee-pee people set up on the moors above the Grey Mare at Belthorn. Early 80’s.
