To be honest i only watched the second half as my lad had football and we were qualityFirst half was absolutely tragic, anyone saying otherwise didn't watch it or doesn't know a single thing about football.

Fair comment but Connolly should have scored.First half was absolutely tragic, anyone saying otherwise didn't watch it or doesn't know a single thing about football.
Okay well you're lucky then because I felt like jumping out of my window into traffic for more enjoyment. To be honest i only watched the second half as my lad had football and we were quality
I think he does a good job for us. Does a lot of the dirty work and actually quite good on the ball. Maybe I’m wrong but I personally don’t know how he is singled out. Did Wright even play?Dougall gets singled out because he can’t do anything right consistently except get booked on a regular basis, he’s quite good at that.
Lucky that u didn’t cause it was absolutely shiteTo be honest i only watched the second half as my lad had football and we were quality
Connolly was superb tonight. Great shift.Fair comment but Connolly should have scored.
Yeah, he should have but we are relying on our right back/right mid/centre back utility player to score.Fair comment but Connolly should have scored.
So unfair to judge him playing out wide. Only a shit manager would play him right wing.Miles better 2nd half, id be quite happy to never see Lavery in a tangerine shirt again, hes absolute crap
Dougall works very hard to win the ball then gives it back straight awayI think he does a good job for us. Does a lot of the dirty work and actually quite good on the ball. Maybe I’m wrong but I personally don’t know how he is singled out. Did Wright even play?
Yeah hes not a winger but hes no better in his proper position eitherSo unfair to judge him playing out wide. Only a shit manager would play him right wing.
Far more players guilty of giving the ball way more than him. He isn’t the problem so just don’t get why people are calling for an injury prone 33 year old to replace him. Madness.Dougall works very hard to win the ball then gives it back straight away
Quite good on the ball? He either gives it away or has it taken off him more than enough. His free kicks are poor, his corners even worse, he is living on his two goals in the playoffs. If he is the best we can do, we are in more trouble than I thought.I think he does a good job for us. Does a lot of the dirty work and actually quite good on the ball. Wasn’t he the leading goal scorer last season? Out of Yates, Madine and Lavery, I reckon Lavery is the only one who could perhaps score more than 5 this season.Yeah hes not a winger but hes no better in his proper position either
Because I wasn't overly concerned. I've seen enough games of football over the years to know not to post in a knee jerk manner. As I said, great pointeasy to say when you didn't post during the match your thoughts on the team / game but you chose to comment for the first time on the matchday thread on what other posters views were, all safely after the event - just saying.....
Ahh so you hate the managerSo unfair to judge him playing out wide. Only a shit manager would play him right wing.
Too be honest Phil first half we were dire, and re; your point about Bowler, they could say the same about Simms and Stewart. To be honest i only watched the second half as my lad had football and we were quality
Well, my closing comment tonight is for Mr. Appleton - If you learnt anything from tonight's game it surely must be that Theo has to start next Saturday - thankyou, and goodnight
First half was shaping up for a Rotherham repeat and looking like it wouldn't end well if Sunderland came back out with a quick start. To be honest i only watched the second half as my lad had football and we were quality
He wasn't really helped by Patino and Wright being off the pace as wellFar more players guilty of giving the ball way more than him. He isn’t the problem so just don’t get why people are calling for an injury prone 33 year old to replace him. Madness.
No they couldn't as they still have them on the booksToo be honest Phil first half we were dire, and re; your point about Bowler, they could say the same about Simms and Stewart.
He must be doing something right for managers to keep picking him. Not saying he is a world beater but far more problems than Dougall to worry about.Quite good on the ball? He either gives it away or has it taken off him more than enough. His free kicks are poor, his corners even worse, he is living on his two goals in the playoffs. If he is the best we can do, we are in more trouble than I thought.
I thought Patino was quality in the second halfHe wasn't really helped by Patino and Wright being off the pace as well
You wasn't overly concerned. I think reading Razzle has fried your eyes.Because I wasn't overly concerned. I've seen enough games of football over the years to know not to post in a knee jerk manner. As I said, great point
Ahh so you hate the manager
Why?
A bit quiet for meI thought Patino was quality in the second half
He looks a completely different player since his injury, whatever he had last be season has gone and it doesn’t look like it’s coming back, he couldnt hit a barn doorWasn’t he the leading goal scorer last season? Out of Yates, Madine and Lavery, I reckon Lavery is the only one who could perhaps score more than 5 this season.
Why is everyone slagging off our corners? We created our best two moments tonight from corners.Seriously Appleton needs to drop Dougall from set pieces/corners he’s just dreadful I’d just drop him full stop but that’s just me.
Thompson needs to be dropped from taking throw inns out of 5 throw in’s first half he found a blue shirt once and only then it was the top of Madine’s head which went then straight to a Sunderland player.
Seriously what’s difficult about corners and throw in’s it’s the basics FFS why do we struggle week in week out?
Thought Patino had his best game for us tonight and is looking more comfortable after each gameHe wasn't really helped by Patino and Wright being off the pace as well
That's nonsense. Reading, udders, and millwall I thought were worse for a start. Thought Sunderland passed it around very well 1st half but never looked that threatening, obviously missing Stewart and Simms. Appleton put it right 2nd half and unlucky not to win. I thought his tactics were very good tonight, as on Saturday.Sunderland are the worst team we've played this season, and if we were a bit braver / positive were there for the taking
We matched your score?Scored 1 goal in your last four games
Worried ??
Thought he was so so,didn't have much of an impact as far as creating anythingThought Patino had his best game for us tonight and is looking more comfortable after each game
Sticking with 5 at the back?Don’t hate him. Just very concerned with some of his tactics. Repeating the Rotherham performance and sticking with 5 at the back. Tonight playing strikers on the wing. Could have been much worse tonight but thankfully they didn’t score in the first half where most teams would.
Just don’t get him. Hope he proves me wrong.
I thought Patino was quality in the second half
Think Sunderland will be pissed drawing both gamesWe matched your score?
No because he was playing deep, he was the defensive midfield playerThought he was so so,didn't have much of an impact as far as creating anything
We had enough midfielders to play three in the middle against Millwall unless he doesn’t fancy Carey.Sticking with 5 at the back?
Don't understand that at all as we only did it once because we had no midfield players
Appleton wants to play 433 and we did today, second half better side
He probably doesn't, i don't eitherWe had enough midfielders to play three in the middle against Millwall unless he doesn’t fancy Carey.
You can create playing defensive midfield, have you ever played football? No because he was playing deep, he was the defensive midfield player
Did you even watch the game?
No that would be MillwallThat would be Huddersfield
Mmmm... yeah i haveYou can create playing defensive midfield, have you ever played football?
