Sunderland v Blackpool Official Matchnight Thread 04.10.22

I see that as the clubs. The Oystons would have seen it as their own. Sadler vastly preferable but he obviously won't spend the amounts that people want him to.
No one wants him to spend millions, no one has? But don't go around a million bid here or there and then don't actually get anyone in? No different to what the Oystons did for years.

That’s the nature of owning a football club. He’s naive if he didn’t expect that.
Absolutely, I'm not sure he thought it through properly to be honest. If it isn't what he expected then everything can be sold. We didn't back the manager in the last 2 windows, why?

The Lavery / Corbs change around is a perfect example of the difference between a hardworking player and naturally gifted footballer.

i'd rather be watching a team in the Championship than going down to watch a L1 team train at a new training ground.
Unfortunately for some he is the multi millionaire football club owner, his money, his choices but we can still complain about it on here if we want to or vote with our feet.

FFS their keeper has played a blinder this half.
Sunderland are as bad this half as we were in the first.
All the moaning fuckers set up a go fund me page so you can buy exactly the players you want.
We've tried to get players in but for one reason or another they've not come in.
We have to do the best we can with what we've got.
If we were 7 points adrift at the bottom of the league l could understand the dissatisfaction.
A late winner for Blackpool and everything changes

Far better 2nd half but some criminal missed passes, ffs. Were in total control then and gave it away.

Completely wasteful in front of goal....
