This result is not critical and should not be made into such, Let Critch rest a few and those coming in need to perform to stay in squad. Would like to see Apter and Holmes on together for at least a half, preferably start with them and let them run themselves and Sunderland ragged. I see Donny have potentially lost 4 players with Covid issues, so if we aim for 9 points after today it is doable
 
After having scored quite a few last month, we've gone back to our old ways of struggling to even create anything.

So......we need to be positive tonight. That means starting Gabriel over Turton, and playing only one holding midfielder. I'd rather we gave it a go than sit back and hope for a lucky break.

My team would be:

Maxwell
Gabriel Ballard Thorniley Husband
Dougall
Mitchell Kaikai Garbutt
Yates Simms

Which leaves Ekpiteta, Robson, Ward, Turton and possibly Stewart on the bench, which is a pretty strong backup to change things if necessary.

In true Blackpool style a win tonight when not really expected. I'll take a draw though.

PS It would be very useful if Accrington & Crewe won too.
 
Got a fiver on us to win at 12/5 I think, so sadly that means a four nil dicking 🥴

We win, playoffs are a certainty, lose & the wheels have come off

So a draw it is then!!
 
No Madine again, we don’t need to have all the internal details, but a ‘little niggle’ come on please tell us where the issue is, fans deserve a bit better rather than say it’s a niggle months ago without an update
 
Great to see Stewart on the bench. I'm not a fan of 1 up front as it hasn't worked for most of the games we've setup like that. Kaikai and Garbutt have to produce better delivery than the last 2 games for us to get anything tonight.
 
That's defo 4-2-3-1 exactly how when 442 was working we changed to.
Good Kaikai best position not marooned out on the left.

Its the team I would have selected tonight....except 4-2-3-1
I hoping stewart and Dougall in the middle with Garbutt.. Kai Kai..ward supporting Yates.
 
That formation. Words fail. Looks like backs to the wall for 90 mins? 5-4-1? Not impressed.
Sunderland look like they are lined up 4-2-2-2. ?? Whatever that is.
Hope it’s more fluid than it looks on paper.

The back four will Turts Ballard Thorniley & Hubby. Garbs will be the one moving forward.
We will have a leftie on the left for a change, which I assume will be Garbs, and Mitchell on the right.
However I do think there could be a hint of 4-3-3 in the line-up.
