All the usual stuff here plus don't forget your predictions.
We’re away from home which should work in our favourWe have a real problem with beating very poor teams in this division. Swindon might have won their last two but they are exceptionally poor and nailed on for relegation in my eyes. Exactly the sort of game we haven't been winning recently and if we're to be taken seriously then we have to beat Swindon.
Great stuff! I remember Suddick being interviewed on Look North after a match at Swindon, late season. I'm pretty sure it was our promotion season. I remember him saying :"They're all tough at this stage of the season". UTMP!I remember driving from Blackpool to Swindon with my brother in March/April 1970 and we only just got in before they closed the gates at 6-30! Don Rogers(who has a stand named after him) ran us ragged and they were soon 1-0 up but Mickey Burns scored and King Alan(sudds) should have got us the winner but the draw was vital and set us up for the next game at Deepdale winning promotion and sending them down. Lets go all out for a win this time.
Hadn't they just beaten Arsenal in the League Cup?I remember driving from Blackpool to Swindon with my brother in March/April 1970 and we only just got in before they closed the gates at 6-30! Yes I think your right, from the kick off they were on fire and we thought how are we going to get anything out of this but Micky Burns got us back into the gameHadn't they just beaten Arsenal in the League Cup?
Sorry Hazi, we could win 10-0 but I think that ship had sailed.1-3 they score first this board goes into meltdown we come back with a Yates hat trick and this board reckons we are on for automatic
I was on the Blackpool Supporters Club bus at Swindon for this night game in April 1970, we stayed in the Swindon Town Supporters Club for an hour after the match and had a post match celebration. Got home after 3am but I still went into work at 7am still buzzing. If Swindon had won that night they would have gone above Blackpool and been favourites for promotion.Great stuff! backhanded compliment CLAXON - lets hope Yatesy can shove that down Sheridan's throat this afternoon. These are sheridans views on Jerry Yates before match tomorrow
SHERIDAN ON YATES
He's an excellent player who wants to improve. Got a great work ethic and he's getting his rewards now. He hasn't got outstandin ability, but he wants to do the best he can with what he's got.
I watched Blackpool on Saturday, they're a good team who want to get into the play-offs. They've got Jerry who scores goals, but they'll be aware we are a threat as well.
with Hazi on the score anyway and maybe the hat trick - why not...1-3 they score first this board goes into meltdown we come back with a Yates hat trick and this board reckons we are on for automatic
???? 5-0. Not a chanceSwindon 5 Blackpool 0
Every time I predict a win, we either lose, or draw so against Charlton and MKD I predicted 5-0 defeat and it worked those 2 times.???? 5-0. Not a chance
