The French

There was always going to be a bit of niggle as the EU enjoy a bit of "look what you've done!" and let's be honest, give a hi-viz vest and clipboard to somebody of any nationality and they'll be a bit of a nob.

But at some point in the relatively near future, new markets well emerge for imports and exports and we will very quickly see a change in behaviour as the behaviour starts impacting them financially.
 
Common knowledge that the French have IDM warheads pointing to targets in the West as well as East. Always wondered about that.
The French don't like us very much indeed they prefer the Hun ffs!
They hate us because we drive on the left.
Not all French hate us really but we do seem to top their polls which given Germany's record 3 awayday invasions (last 150 yrs) should make them forever No1
Now to finally piss of the Frenchy - they thought that French would regain its place as the EU language - NON Sacré bleu!!!!

The French definitely don't have much time for the English. As soon as we left their little European project they were pushing for French to be the new language of Europe, even though most officials in the European Parliament don't speak French proficiently, but do speak English. One French MEP stated that English is the first language of only five million EU citizens and should no longer be the primary language in EU matters. Clement Beaune, France’s EU minister, stated his aversion to the use of English, proclaiming that the EU should “get used to speaking our languages again”. Maybe the French are just jealous of us. They certainly seem to be constantly trying to punish us.

My grandparents generation pulled them out in the First World War, whilst my parents generation pulled them out after they spewed it in , in a matter of weeks in 1940 they are and forever will be in debt to this country
 
The French didn t appreciate the Royal Navy crippling their fleet in the Med as a nation we have upset a lot of people at one time or another.

Not so sure that your average French person under the age of 50, and many older than that, has ever been bothered by that fact.

I've just finished reading a book about the women who were sent over from the uk to carry out sabotage and raising the local patriots to fight the Nazis in WW2. A lot of them were tortured and killed by the Occupiers. Once the war was over they received this message from de Gaulle. 'go back to England , this is France'.

Those French politicians who wish to 'punish the uk' for leaving the EU. Should be made to visit every graveyard in France and count all the gravestones of British troops who sacrificed their lives to free the French from tyranny and apologise to each and every one of them.

I know a number of decent French people, but they do seem, on the whole, to dislike us, but not our money.
 
We have fought wars with the french and Spanish for centuries.get over it, we’re not friends. But i still-love both countries. Who knew we could co exist without cuddles.

I struggle with 'we' and 'them' in this context, I am just me and I treat people as individuals not nationalities.
When it comes to politicians, which is where some of you might be directing your comments, I'm not particularly keen on many from anywhere, particularly not the self serving career ones. French or British equally obnoxious and many play to base instincts to create division that they benefit from.
 
Can’t understand why so many bring up the war when talking about the dislike of the French.
The French resistance were key to D Day with the intelligence they supplied.
They also suffered through torture and execution in horrendous numbers.
So Macron is a t...r doesn’t mean the French as a nation are, granted some are rude obnoxious but so are some Brits. We as a country have had our problems with them as history shows but thats history move on.
