Can't we move on from this now? They got their pants pulled down publicly and they're not going to apologise. They've already had too much attention, give them the respect they deserve and crack on.
 
Pretty sure it's just one person that runs that muckers twitter page rather than a group of people. That's the impression I get anyway.

So it's less 'they' and probably more 'he / she'.

Not the best move ever....and I imagine they will be giving it the old Sherlock Holmes before replying to any 'unknown' text messages....
We know who did it....

They fucked over one of their own and put his career in a bit of an up hill battle, even before he starts.
I hope the lad becomes a ** superstar and wins games for us.......just so we can say he picked us and NOT PNE........

It doesn't matter how much good, how many fine deeds you may have done before, when you make a mistake, own it, try to put it right, apologise.
When you f*** up, fess up.
Not doing that, and still trying to knock Williams? That's cowardly.

I was in a train carriage with some of them last year and whereas they were a bit lively, they seemed a nice enough bunch of lads.
 
They dropped a clanger in the way they have handled it personally. Should have been dealt with privately rather than on social media. The Muckers have done a lot of good for the fans, the club and charity so let’s not forget that either before getting out the pitchforks
 
Prolonging this chip paper story, is just adding fuel to the flames & embarrassing the name of our club.
I don't know any of the Muckers, but I love their contribution to the atmosphere in the North & the part they played during and after NAPM.
Rhys is a big boy and he will have suffered far worse than this. He says the tweet is fake and he's 100% a Blackpool player, that'll do for me & let his feet do the talking .... especially against the Knobbers 🧡

Were you really taken in by that? Really?
Do you genuinely think Williams would come to a club he supposedly hates to the core of his soul?

He's not some desperate journeyman, willing to forsake any prejudices he might have for a contract, any contract.
He's a fringe player at Liverpool who stepped in to play six Champions League games when needed, he probably had other career choices (and certainly will in the future) but chose to come here.

Wake up.

In fairness, it ought to be obvious that it’s very likely to be a fake.

Firstly, it’s extremely unlikely that a friend of the player would go public. Not least because the player would know who it was, but also because it would be a shitty thing to do.

Secondly, because a professional player is highly unlikely to think or say those things to anyone, not least the sort of person who might divulge and certainly not by text message.

Thirdly because it’s very likely (given the circumstances) that our local rivals would manufacture something like this as banter.
