I’d need to see some pretty convincing evidence to believe it was true Phil. I mean it even sounds fake as in the stuff he’s said is almost like textbook what you’d say if you were making it up.

What makes you think it would be real…?

They've dropped a bit of a clanger here imo but to bring up something like that which happened a long time ago and he's since turned his life around is really poor form.

What's that got to do with these tweets?

Probably the most lamentable thing a BFC player has been accused of since a certain bellend on here accused Ian Evatt of throwing the game at Old Trafford

I dont care if the tweet was real these players get paid good money to play football they dont have to love or like a football team they have to do there job weve seen many badge kissers in the past it means nothing.

To be honest no idea who he is and not been able to get a pint in the Armfield ( always arrive too late and its packed)but hope to try again for opening game. If it is the aforementioned guy (Grimshaw?) I'm sure he'll delete the twitter post and hold his hand up - we all make mistakes which is why they put rubbers on the end of pencils.
To bring up his past was a bit shitty ,I'll grant you that . Most of us have done things we regret but reads like he's moved on .
 
surely we can all agree that the Muckers post was not how any right minded person would want their club or a legitimate supporters organisation to be represented. It’s also not the place or the manner with which to address a concern about (and to) a young person, regardless of profession. In my opinion it is plain old fashioned bullying (called him a Sh1thouse for an unsubstantiated rumour about a private conversation). To then have another go at him when he responds, it’s just not on. And that applies whether the conversation was fake or real IMO. It’s not how mature adults should behave.
 
Think I might know who that might be. His very credible name stood out a mile in the replies.

However, it’s very easy to make a realistic fake these days if you are sad enough and have the time. 😡

No he isnt 😂, he’s defending someone who has wrongly called out and abused a young lad, completely embarrassed themselves and the group they represent, and embarrassed the supporters as a whole as well.

Out of interest what did they actually see? I actually think it is both negligible and actually quite damaging even if this is real for them to have thought that this could in any way end well? What did they hope to achieve from it? Embarrass and humiliate the player? Whoever it is who has posted this needs to have a large word with themselves. And, in a way, to hide behind the Muckers twitter account, and I have no problem with the Muckers or all they've done for the club, is weak and they should identify and explain themselves for something akin to what you'd expect the Tories to do!

Why this insistence from certain people to go to the Armfield and face the person or persons? So someone goes in and says it to their face, what happens then, they all put their arms around each other and have a nice social chat and a pint or is it an "I dare you to confront the hard men and say what you think and then get the shit kicked out of you" sort of threat? I mean the muckers are well hard and we should all toe the line because we should be super scared even though we all support the same club!

I think this is what doesn't sit well with me about this whole story. What did he hope to achieve? I'd understand if it was a Preston player who had sent that text as a Blackpool fan but the other way round is just indefensible.
