The player will put in a cracking performance and the Muckers will start chanting his name

We need this player its going to be a tough season we need to get behind him
 
A few OTT comments on here IMHO… It seems on the face of it that the lads have been the subject of a malicious and carefully orchestrated scam.

Personally, I wouldn’t have gone and tweeted the player, but the MSG have always been direct and gone for the jugular and this is no exception. That’s who they are and that’s why they get things done, where others would fail.

Rhys has clarified the messages had nothing to do with him. He’s confirmed that he’s a professional and committed to doing his best for Blackpool FC and so let’s respect that and leave him to do his talking on the pitch.

Anyway I’ve devised a chant, which hopefully we can get going in the North👍

We thought you said you didn’t want us
We thought you were a knobber turd
We got it wrong on this occasion
But sorry seems to be the hardest word

That's unfortunate but as said you cant brand and blame an entire group of supporters who may join a group because one person put out a tweet.

I'm not a mucker although I'm based in the north and get just as involved as any of them.

Whatever they are, the fact is they are thankful that they don't come from that shit hole non-entity of a town that is at the other end of the M55 called Preston. Life has really dealt those that do a bad hand.
 
It's time to move on, it's souring the start to the season. Williams will shrug it off as the bullshit that it was and I would rather be looking forward to who our new players are going to be, who will be leaving, guessing the team and formation and looking forward to the season starting. It was worth the debate yesterday but let's move on, at the end of the day we are all Blackpool supporters and we should all be pulling in the same direction. The utter scumbag who pulled this sick stunt will be loving the effect he has caused, well fuck him, and come on Rhys, make your partnership at the back with Marv the best in the Championship.

Oh, and by the way I have no problem with coming to the Armfield club and speaking to the Muckers as it wouldn't be anything other than a friendly meet up, why wouldn't it?

It's not resolved is it? Cos the muckers havent got the character to fess up to their infantile mistakes. Its in their own interests to grow some testicles and speak up. Surely. They dont want to lose face but actually thats what's happened.

I'm just trying to make light of a situation that seems to have been blown out of all proportion...
