What a knob, not letting the players celebrate a goal, it seems that as soon as the players wheeled away to celebrate he whistled to get on with the game, let them enjoy their moment ffs

I thought Bobby Madley was OK he didn't get to many decisions wrong and wasn't biased towards the ex prem team.
Not great but miles better than the knob against Norwich
Corner in the first half was clearly a goal kick for us, he missed that one, but he wasn't too bad.

I said to my pal at half time that he was having a great game.
He was almost on top of play for every decision.
Their penalty shout for the free kick preceding the one they scored from was superb refereeing.
He was literally 3 yards away.

Maybe it's because I'm biased but we never get free kicks for being nudged off the ball, whereas the opposition get them for any kind of contact.

As for the high kick that was allowed to continue...

Yep, that's probably bias. Thought he gave us a few soft ones today.

He was a premier league ref before " his troubles" and was reffing in Scandinavia for a while . He is probably the best ref around at Championship level

Minor decisions annoyed me a bit but overall nothing contentious so yep he did well.

That high kick was nowhere near, bridcutt was already on his way down, fair decision imo

Did ok for me but their number 39 definitely impeded connolly at our corner just before half time should have been a pen

The free kick they scored from, which was cracking finish TBF, was taken from a good 5 years a further into the pitch than where the foul was. Plus he gave a corner to them in true first half when Maxwell was a good distance away from the ball.

He did however give the rarest of rare decisions by pulling them up a foul throw!!

He did take 80 or so minutes to give the foul throw …. Not once did the Watford thrower throw the ball from behind his head ! Or have both feet on the ground.

The fact is that if he didn't like the time wasted in celebration of a goal, he could just add
another minute or two after the allotted mins added on.
No need to make a song and dance about it.

Yep. He let the game flow and didn't constantly whistle for some of the nudges or impeedments from either side unlike many whistle happy refs which can turn it into a frustrating stop start game.

He was one of the better refs we’ve had. But the linesman at the north east allowed 2 offsides to play on no flag. The free kick was moved and wasn’t taken from the right place where the foul happened
Ref gave them a corner when it was 100% a goal kick. Like I say one of the better ones this season cos we’ve had some real shyte refs this season so far
