We’re paying £54 million to France

All we need to do is factor into the agreement that if any do get through, we can drop them off back in France. I'd hate to think we are paying France to shepherd the migrants to our waters.

We doubled the payments to France and they doubled the number of immigrants they escorted here. Maybe we should have halved the payments instead.

Question is why do people cross so many countries? Surely it’s better to be part of the EU than.... Plague Island.....pariah state....with a lying , corrupt, xenophobic, racist.......as PM. I really think you should organise transportation from the UK to save them from such a place Cat ?Save them from catching the little known but deadly “Johnson Variant “.....

Urban myth. You need to be a resident to receive benefits. Even ex pats have to wait a while before getting benefits on their return depending on where they've come from. The Habitual Residence Test.

And what happens if you're born overseas because your Mum and Dad are stationed abroad?

Wiz seriously I worked in social care the cost of payments for emergency housing and non legal status payments was staggering.

The Johnson Variant is just another name for the Delta Variant - so called because of Johnson’s failure to put India on the Red list in a timely manner and then allowing tens of thousands of travellers into the country without any restrictions.

Not trying to big up this country Shandy, simply agreeing with your take on Syria and why refugees from there are desperate to come here but I’m certainly not taking every opportunity to slag this country off as some on here do.
