I've always thought that if the state sends our people around the world to be involved in combat situations it has a duty of care to look after them when they get home. Wether they be mentally or physically damaged the state should look after them, it shouldn't be left to charities. Thanks a fair assumption.
As I said in an earlier comment it becomes a problem when we’re giving accommodation and feeding illegal immigrants when we have people of our own on the streets many ex armed forces who have become outcasts in today’s society.
I don't know what refugees do or don't get but when I watch the news and see what some of these people go through I think maybe we have to be a bit more careful about where we sell our weapons and where we send our armed forces.
In short I am happy for my taxes to be spent on people in genuine need wherever they come from, I'm less happy when well connected not particularly capable people like Dido Harding make people wealthy with our money with little benefit to the people of the UK.
