At least keep it tight while we're not in the game going forward.
It's going to be one of them - hang in there first half, get a MA bollocking at half time & come out playing far better.
 
Just look miles off, can't see us winning this on this evidence so far, hopefully changes, but we can't even keep much possession.
 
It's a bit like the first half at home v Swansea.
We're sat deep, giving the ball away too easy, and counter attacking but without any real pressure in the box.
Let's hope the we come on stronger as the game plays out

Not a bad start I don’t think. If only Gary had pace we could have had a 1 on 1 there.

Poor fare at the moment. Not created anything yet. Don't want to say we miss Patino..but I will. They (WBA) look low in confidence. If we can just up the pace a bit and get a few moves together we can beat these.
 
So similar to hull this. Giving a side who are rock bottom on confidence the belief they need by just letting them have 70% of the ball. Really poor start this.

Well according to Madine he is faster than Yates, he was talking on the preview show last week about how he's clocked a higher speed than Yates. He even had an argument with Critch after he was dropped in favour of Yates' speed, he told him to "check his numbers".

The difference is acceleration as we just saw, Yates is rapid off the mark and would have probably done much more with that opportunity. Madine has a bit of speed once he gets going but he really does need a wind up time, he looked away for a second then just went nowhere.
 
Grant Ward could have been handy on the bench, not much in the way of midfield options on the bench. Hopefully Patino doesnt have covid !
 
West Brom are starting to get a foothold. A quickfire counter is what is needed. Wright way off it at the moment. Offering nothing.
