It's one of the best squads we've ever had in this division and Critchley is making a horlicks of it. As the fans are singing 'you don't know what you're doing'. He'll be toast soon.

I hope he does come good again, but prior to leaving us he had lost the plot, he then failed at Villa and QPR and he is not doing it here second time. He'll get to January but if we are lower than half way and still playing like this he will be gone. I would prefer we were in the top 6 by then but can't see it on the season's performances so far.

I think what little confidence he had in himself (remember he quit management to become a coach, he wasn't keen to keep going as a manager) has been utterly destroyed by his experience at Villa and Qpr.

Please Me Sadler, on Monday ask critch this question, "why oh why oh why?" and listen carefully to his answer. ..

No we’re in league one and we can’t afford to stay there. If it’s plop ball at the end of November he has to go so we have a chance to salvage the season. Complacency kills.

CJ a a winger, Connolly as right back, Hubby as left back, Beesley wouldn't be playing if Lavery or Joseph were fit and Dougall was a sub, so it is a very very good league 1 squad, but we have a floundering manager who is getting worse not better.
 
We was on the crest of a wave when critchley first joined probably hendry couldn’t of even failed he’s shown his credentials everywhere else he’s been now he’s adamant this systems going to work you just can’t play Chris Hamilton as a wing back we should of been hammered today Wycombe have been very wasteful. I suppose critchley will now come out and say we played well. I missed 20 minutes of the first half and switched it off on 60 I could suffer no more.
 
Far too many anonymous players today (and not just today I would dare say). Morgan, Wier, Norburn, Beesley….

The subs have made a difference but then it’s easy to come on and try stuff when the game is pretty much gone.

Very disappointing.
