The bench has stronger players in quite a few cases. Surely NC isn’t resting players already?
It’s opened a window of opportunity for Cardiff to exploit

Should be there, but Friday 13th struck, staff issues at work, 2 off unexpectedly so I had to work yesterday then had a very poorly dog I had to take to the vets last night, suspected Lymphoma. So no trip up yesterday and have had to work again today. Absolutely gutted, really really gutted and found it difficult to even post on here. Missed a gig last night too. The highs and lows of running your own business! Milwall away first game now and then Fulham at Bloomfield. At least someone was able to use my season ticket and I can watch it on TV.
 
Should be 2 down already, they are battering us, we look like rabbits in the headlights at the moment. We need to settle down fast or we are going to get dicked.

TJJ looks dangerous, CJ is a threat but no support from midfield and the defence look at sixes and sevens.

Welcome to the championship..

I expected a loss today. We are playing one of the better sides. Not Middlesbrough reserves or a poor Bristol city.

The good news is... It's 0-0. The longer it goes on like this the more we'll grow in to it and the more they'll get frustrated.

Are you watching it, we are getting absolutely battered so far, that's a fact. The one good thing is that we haven't conceded. We really should be 4 down now, we have to change tactics and personnel in the second half. No creativity in midfield, no right back, Anderson, Ward and Dougall doing nothing at all and CJ is a shadow of his early season last year. Connolly is never a right back and Husband can't deal with the height of the attackers.

I would be looking at getting Carey, Lavery and Bowler on pronto.
 
Never been so happy to go in 0-0, could have been 4 down and we couldn't complain.

Time to change it and we may have a much better second half.
 
Typical McCarthy team and tactics but they are mixing it up with some good football and we're not coping.

Marv might be a good shout as sub 1 - now.
 
To be fair, we looked similar against Bristol for 90% of it until Bowler and Lavery came on, no idea why they're not playing.

It's just not that simple unfortunately. It's not really that area where we are struggling.

Cardiff have won 74% aerial duels and 67% of tackles to our 25%. They are imposing themselves physically and we are not used to this.
 
A few thoughts

Don't know what Cardiff have to do to get booked, shoot someone perhaps?

Great turn by Jerry to create the chance for himself. We've not been able to get him into the game nearly enough.

Cardiff the better side, but our pace troubles them. Not getting at their back line enough

Why pass a free kick backwards in the last 2 minutes of the half

We were getting undone by nod ons in our left back position. Connolly playing well.

They've missed a sitter, but we deserve to be level imo.
