I am also at home feeling unwell, the win has cheered me up though.Me too, not feeling too well so gave it a miss, then We score 3 and win.. such is life
Good job you're not the coach, you'd have subbed him!2 assists for Bowler!!
I'm in the camp, I said no subs at 65 as I could see what they would add.Good job you're not the coach, you'd have subbed him!
Sorry Halifax that was supposed to be replying to Hertford. The guy is comedy gold with his rants about players who end up as heroes of the day.I'm in the camp, I said no subs at 65 as I could see what they would add.
GabrielWho got man of the match award - hopefully Marv.

Step forward Josh Bowler, 2 assists.
They actually were for large parts of the game, but we were better when it counted.BRILLIANT, well done Blackpool
Can't wait to hear Ferguson bitching his head off about being the better team, dead unlucky blah blah blah.
Bar the two assists? Give some credit when it’s due FFS.I'm guilty on here 2. Hindsight is smashing but Bowler fcuked everything he did up today bar the two assists. You can only comment upon what's in front of you at the time and some of us wear our hearts on our sleeves and only have a rant because we want to win. It's why we have a match day chat.
It's easy to come on here after the event being smug.
Actually I said Dougall and Lavery for Carey & Yates never said anything about taking Bowler off. I have always said he is great at taking on and beating players but his distribution has been shocking, today he assisted 2 of the 3 goals and had a really good game, but he is still very wasteful. If he can improve we will have a great player on our hands.Good job you're not the coach, you'd have subbed him!
Yer bannedI’m not going this weekend so it’s a definite win for us. Having attended the Birmingham, Luton and Derby games I’ve come to the conclusion that I must be having a detrimental effect on the team
Definitely struggling in midfield and have been for some time, I know Dougall and Wintle are good players but we seem to be swamped in midfield week in week out. Do not profess to have an answerWe look weak in central midfield and Bowler has been wasteful so far.
I can't get up until the end of January but my son was going though he decided to pull out due to some matches being cancelled because of Covid, 60 quid train fare is a lot to he thought, he was also going to stay over to attend a gig. He's kicking himself now. After watching the 3 previous defeats I decided to stay away today, guess I made the right call there then
We were getting swamped again 2nd half. Critch had a couple of quid each way by bringing on Carey, which was just enough to wrestle back control without being too defensive.Definitely struggling in midfield and have been for some time, I know Dougall and Wintle are good players but we seem to be swamped in midfield week in week out. Good post, and good point about the nature of the subs. Not our best performance, but did enough. Peterborough looked good going forward, but they were atrocious defensively, you can see why they are shipping lots of goals. Bowler gets two assists but didnt think he had a good game, he wasted the ball so often, on a better day we may have had seven against this lot. the pass for thier goal was superb, the kid scored looks quite tasty as well, all over th pitch two good feet, skillful, gave james in partcular a horrid time.
marv and husband all had excellent games, james wasnt bad got forward well put in some decent crosses. it was better with gabriel on the right, dont think he had one of his best games though. Madine bossed the posh defence, but we dont quite have the understanding going forward yet between the forward players. Keshi was in fine form again, thought jerry looked hungry.
the posh defence, had been bullied By madine and had had Lavery buzzing around like a randy tterrier for 70 mins or so, then we bring on a hungry Jerry and a clever carey, its not really what you want to see for the last twenty mins.
fantastic save by Grimmy at the end.
good day - needed it
I think it's because we are attempting to create width, with Bowler and Anderson often hugging the touchline, and James and Gabriel tending to run in tandem with them. This tactic only works if the crossing is timely and accurate. Today, it was. Most of the season, it has been poor. This facet of our game may decide our season, because Bowler is clearly capable of getting to the byeline, or cutting inside and creating opportunites, even on a bad day.Definitely struggling in midfield and have been for some time, I know Dougall and Wintle are good players but we seem to be swamped in midfield week in week out. There’s a separate thread just for the saveNo-one mentioned the stunning save Grimshaw pulled off when we were at 2-1
Can't remember that - he pulled off a great save when it was 3-1.No-one mentioned the stunning save Grimshaw pulled off when we were at 2-1

Good post Grumps, lifted the whole team needed thatJust back, too. Jerry will be revitalised after that. The crowd serenaded him throughout his cameo appearance and poacher's goal. He needed that.
The team all hugged Sony Carey for his first goal. The team spirit is still flaming.
We needed that win. The fightback starts from here. Come on you Pool!
I was at Bloomfield but have watched goal on SKY since and he looked onside to me 20sone other question for those watching in on tv. Thought for their goal he was just offside. Anyone confirm. Was right in line with it and thought he'd just gone a fraction too early or the ball was slightly delayed putting him thru but in real time he looked just offside.
He gave offside for the follow up methinks not the original fort that he savedAlso the lino flagged for offside
No.Genuinely the biggest result of the season so far, defeat would have pulled us right back down into the relegation scrap, but victory has now put us 11 points clear and we can start to look up again. Plus we stop the rot right before the busy period. Class.
Keshi, Bowler, Yates, and Carey have to be our front 4 from now on.
See it on Quest. Definitely Onside.one other question for those watching in on tv. Thought for their goal he was just offside. Anyone confirm.
