Blackpool v Hull City Official Matchinght Thread 19.10.22

Tonight's gate = a poor 9,884 & being outplayed by a bum team - the nobbers will be loving this!
Come on Pool 20 mins remaining to save your credibility.

Being mullered here.

All because Patino gave the ball away.

Just far too slow in getting back.

Not one player tonight has earned his stripes.

As poor as I’ve seen us this season. We’re looking like a team struggling at the foot of the table now, Hull do not.
Saturday could be a day to forget if they okay like this.

Hopefully this will, in some uncanny, unpredictable way, influence the Preston game in our favour… maybe they’ll feel over confident and we’ll feel fired up.

Then again, maybe not.

Hopefully those tossing one off over Appleton will quiet down a bit. This was absolutely atrocious. No point getting good battling points and then losing against the divisions whipping boys.
It’s how we seem to approach games mentally though… the past two seasons,
Make the top 6 teams fear us yet somehow, get absolutely battered by P’Boro and the like.

Just a really poor night but was fairly obvious it would be with the bodies available and momentum shift in the game at the weekend. And Hull will have been looking for something to get themselves going again and hoping this would be it.
We've only got limited resources, because we didn't spend the Josh & Judas income on signing the championship standard players we need. Trying to survive in the Championship with a less than average squad simply isn't going to work. That's down to the board.
Tonight's performance & capitulation is simply not acceptable.
