Though short of minutes Poveda has looked really good. Even with 9 injuries/suspensions he still can’t get in the starting X1. Pretty much as expected with this line up. It’s still fine though not a great deal of forward play by the wing backs. Come on the pool

Hull fans saying they’ve no striker on the pitch. Oscar on the bench and they’ve gone with all defenders and midfielders. Playing longman as a striker who can’t hit a barn door. They don’t seem a happy bunch. Seems to me they may be playing for a draw
 
Decent side from what we’ve available. Would have preferred Bridcutt for Dougall and Husband for Garbutt but we might be saving them for Saturday.
 
Going for 4-1 Pool. Yates double, Theo and Wright. Feel like we are really clicking now. Interested to see who plays deepest, with the ball and without the ball, out of Patino and Dougall.

Also keen to see how Garbutt slots in. He seems to buck the trend of a player increasing their reputation whilst injured, to the point I think people forget what a good player he's been for us. He's also very good at getting the ball forward into the defenders feet which suits our new high octane style.

The stability of our defence or otherwise looks key to this to me. I guess Hull will be trying to play on the break by the sounds of things, which may or may not help.
The rest of the team and back up looks OK.
An early goal for us could be important.
 
Looked like Maxwell could've done better there. I'm in the south though.

This game is shit. Hopefully it'll give us a kick.
 
Hull have looked one of the poorer sides we have played this season. And we don't have a clue against these sort of sides.
