    Comeback Holloway all is forgiven

A name I haven't heard mentioned is Garry Monk. Got loads of experience, a good age (43) and wants to get back into management. He has a mixed record I know but so do most of the other managers who have been touted.

    Playoffs

We have 20 games left. I can see us winning 10 of those, drawing 4 and losing 6. Which strangely, would give us the same number of wins, draws, defeats and points as last season. So the chances of that happening are slight but it's something to aim for and a bit more realistic than making the...

Ipswich Home Game - right or wrong in hindsight?

We could easily have dodged Ispwich, just like Burton did to us but we didn't. I like that attitude and I like the confidence that Critch must have had in the players to get a result against an in form team. It didn't work out as we all know and it might have been a bit naive of us but we gave...

    Rochdale Predictions

I am a bit concerned that the goals seem to have dried up in the last two games. After the Burton match we went six games scoring two goals or more. Then we had the nil nil against Accrington and then only one against Sunderland and that was a bit of a fluke. I would love us to get back to...

Where did you watch the 2017 Play Off Final?

Steve 'Fat Head' Evans Predictions ..

Why does he think he has 'the best squad for cup-tie football' in this division? They lost 2-3 at home to Exeter in the second round of the FA cup, they lost 1-0 away to Stoke in the third round of the League cup and they lost 2-0 away to Cambridge in the second round of the EFL trophy. Hardly a...

Supplement to 10 year anniversary thread - foul on Luke Varney video

I sat near the dug outs that night and remember watching Furguson 'handle' the officials. It was a master class in how to effect the game from the touchline.

Daily AVFTT Feature: Day One: Your First Keeper?

Ian Hesford - I lived near Ian in Cleveleys and as kids we used to play against him in the park. He was only a few years older than us but even then he was difficult to beat. RIP
